Aloha Wayde, I just want to say much "Mahalo" to you for all your videos! I love them. I especially love the scenes and views you caught on cam. They bring me back to when i use to live there a few years back ! I'm a nature lover and this is amazing ! when i'll get the chance to come back in the 808 state, i'll would love you to take me to 1 or 2 of your fav hikes ! Thank you for creating priceless memories! A bientôt ! ;)
@mcdolly140679 Mahalos for watching, you'll be back...those who leave always return. I would love to show you around. Spread the Aloha, keep watching and tell others!
@jayvogkoz lol, this is a very easy hike...I however go up the front ridge and do some rock scrambling, most don't do that...Going that way is more fun and a little harder for the average joe, but still easy if you got any hiking skills...I don't think this video looks hard...it looks easy. perception...perception.
@WAYDESWORLDHAWAII yah just yesterday we did Lanikai Pillbox again but continued the whole trail around like a loop going over all the hills until we ended up on the bottom of the hill and walked backed to the beginning. Good hike. about 2 hours. Thanks for your videos
Hey Wayde I was wondering if you used a wide angle lens on your gopro for this video as I will be traveling there on Aug 15 and would like to get some nice footage while I'm there.
@tasmania105 NO bro...this is direct out of the Box...Seriously, depending on the angle, the sun and ridge size can make it look like you are but the GoPro has a very wide frame as it is...The more sun the better...the GoPro for some reason in darker areas like a forest or at sunset shrink the frame and are not as focused...
Hey wayde, can you tell me where i can pick some fresh green coconut from a tree,
I was in oahu a year ago, and we went to the Northshore and saw coconut trees on the road, but we found out that they actually belong to the houses that are on the street and they wouldi not let us get any green ones, but they gave us some fully brown ones which i dont like. Im lookin for raw green coconut juice. Not the brown ones.
@funintegras Well my friend, even if you do get one you won't be able to open it unless you bring a machete with you...You can find Green coconuts everywhere but you will have to climb the palm tree...if they fall on the ground already it's too late...You see the problem here...lol...go ahead and stop at a side stand...you will find plenty of them along the roads on the East and North sides of the island on the streets and they are cheap. You can also go to the Aloha stadium swap meet. Good Luck
I have purchase from the stands, but they are also the ripe brown coconuts. I guess what im looking for are the white ones they have here in California which are imported from Thailand. Im guessing they are not the same since I dont see people drinking the young coconuts there. Were heading back to Oahu in August, hope i find some this time.
Thanks - PS, ill be looking forward to Kaiona beach and Lanikai beach - thanks for the tip.
Damn I wish I did this when I was on Oahu. Oh well, just another reason to go back. Hopefully I will have some GoPro HD footage from my Hawaii trip up on my channel soon if you want to check out some ATV tours.
@Reckdog357 Sure thing braddah, keep me posted, but I'll keep ckin in your way to see it...You already got solid sickness all over your page already, Im surprised you're still alive...lol, Shoots brah! Aloha
