Eric's a fireman and they're used to TAKING charge and making the decisions. I don't think Eric's a bad guy necessarily. He's just not playing the game well right now. People who take charge of the food are always going to be targets. His head is out of the game and losing focus as to why he's there. He's falling victim to the classic BB trap -- caring too much and not letting people dig their own holes.
