Buddha was chosen by the Gods to live two destinies They have created. These 2 destinies are: the Adolf Hitler destiny and the coming new king who will bring peace to the Earth for a long time.
Nostradamus calls these 2 destinies: (1)Mars and (2)The Scepter in quatrain 24 of century 6. Thus Hitler is not the author of WWII,the Gods are.
this comment is the fulfillment of Nostradamus's quatrain 91 of century 1:The Gods will make it appear to mankind that They are the authors of a great war.
Congratulations, the War is Over !! The Next President of the United States of America is Muhammed Hansen, and he Lives on the front lawn of the White House in a Tent, and he is a Muslim, And a Buddhist :)
It's nice to see someone so completely unconcerned with style. It is so foreign to our society. Style and flare are driven home to us daily. This man is so true. He is here for others only. If he was fluent in English, he would almost too much for us to handle! lol. He is an amazing person.
What worries me is this guy is one of the Dean's at one of the most prestigious Universities in the world, and yet after his initial introduction he talks solidly for eight minutes. Notice the way he stands bodily in the Dalai Lama's space and motions @0:30 too? What does his station and his religion mean when he barely knows basic good grace?
The responses to this lecture are very indicative of where and how our society is progressing or not. Why some people even watch or listen to this talk is puzzling-but I learn something from each and every one of us struggling to find meaning and purpose on this great adventure we live...
49:25 - anyone know what's this Kasa (not sure of spelliing/pronunciation) "mysterious [Buddhist] procedure for determining" (FWIW wikipedia has "Kasa" as a buddhist hat.)

This man represents a false religion. Calling him "his holiness" shows that this man is ignorant of the real God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God gave up Himself on a humiliating cross to prove His love for us and to reconcile mankind back to the Creator of the Universe, by dying on the cross for our sins against Him. My own Brahman Priest Great Grandfather gave up false religions like the Dalai Lama's in exchange for God's truth and love as given us in the Bible.
I am glad to find The Dalia Lama here. I find his teachings enrichening. Taking much away. Great sense of humor. Why does it bother people so much, his position? He is recognized the world over as a spiritual leader. He is a messenger. It's the message that is profound and should provoke thought and action. The Dalia Lama, his person, to me is the representation of the GOD man among us. Truly a great gift to us all. I
He carries the teachings of Christ to us. The living word among us.

The Bible says that nobody is holy and we are not anybody to call holy ! We are all sinners, even this man and he, like all of us need Jesus Christ to be saved !! No other name has been given through which we must be saved. Not through religion, but through Jesus only !
@alexvannes The honorific title and style of address of "Holiness" is given to religious leaders of very high stature including Christian ones such as the Roman Catholic Pope and the Patriarchs of the Eastern Orthodox churches. On an absolute level no one is in a position to say or know what or who, if anything or anyone, is holy. To you Jesus Christ may be holy but not to everyone.
stop talking about government funded facilities. listen to what the man has to say.. i'm only 18 and i've already realized all of what he said is mostly true.. we're all human... to hate another human is to hate yourself.. grow up and look at the big picture... the reason for life.. is to further it into something meaningful aka world peace, the destruction of hate from our hearts and to open our minds. Your human, she's human, he's human, we're all human... Stop hating yourself.
I got to see him in person and listen to his lecture this year, and it was amazing. This video is awesome also, but theirs nothing like being in his presence, Also he's got a great sense of humor that really lightens the heavy messages that he aims at within his lecture. i don't understand why there would even be a single negative remark about his speeches.
Wow are all christians and catholics as terrible as you? Cause at my school I see all of these ghetto gangsters wearing the cross, and they were all smoking and drinking too. So does god teach you to do that?
Great lecture great questions, great direction from the dalai lama:
If we are gonna change the world its gonna have to start within us. When we are secure in ourselves and the compassionate approach to others then most of todays problems will disappear.
Perhaps to be replaced with a whole new heap of problems.
But that would at least be progress because as things stand soceities just keep going around in circles.

He is very good at separating his comments from religion and paying much heed to it...kinda strange that religions claim to have tolerance...it is evident from his constant need to separate from religion that he has had problem with their intolerance toward him in the past.
@HigherPlanes To call someone stupid on a video page of the Dalai Lama's lecture? That's how fights starts. I hope you wrote this before watching the video, because I think you have just totally missed his entire teachings in this video...
@GetDamage I agree, that he/she shouldn't have used the word stupid. I think they meant to say ignorant which is clearly different and likely in areas.
