  • I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (October 2), we sang this as the closing hymn. Ditto for me as I did likewise at a local Lutheran Church that I filled in at. However, we sang to SICILIAN MARINERS, an 18th Century Sicilian tune. It is #545 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship.

  • @mkl62 I don't know that Sicilian Mariners is in the LSB...I'll have to look...

  • Same melody as the Christmas hymn "Angels from the Realms of Glory." ; )

  • @vanni9283 Correct! The tune "Regent Square" is used a handful of times for different texts. Its a nice singable tune, and our congregation loves to sing it!

  • Beautiful.Thank you.

  • Wonderfull Hymn, wonderfull playing and singing, magnificent church.

    Congratulationes!

    God bless you all!
