The dominion fleet was not destroyed by the prophets. They were simply moved to the dimension where the prophets exist. If you read the ds9 relaunch book unity you can find this out. the ds9 relaunch series is considered proper star trek cannon. These D I Y cut up episodes r cool only 2 an extent. If u have all the time in the world to do something like this y can't u just post the entire season of full episodes.

@chefkoo In a way that is true but it was good to have a mix. Defiant-class ships are really fast well armed escort ships. Perfect for behind the lines operations, hit and run, surgical strikes thats why Siskos was really the only one to break through, but for the major engagements you need the heavy weights Galaxy-class maybe even Excelsior-class, and Nebula-class. A good mix is helpful. Sisko using the Galaxys to keep the trap from closing was a great tactic.

@lavixl no it was part of the "Federation Diplomatic Corps negotiating an end to the Dominion War" which is basically an excuse to not use there most powerful ship in any fight this is mainly because by the time the federation was actually at war, first contact had already been released.

The Dominion abandoned the station but didn't have time to sabatage systems like Sisco did when the Federation left. The station (DS-9) survived as did the worm hole & the worm hole Aliens.

The only thing that happened...not shown here...was Sisco pleading with the worm hole aliens to do something about the Dominion reinforcemeants for the sake of BeJore. The Dominion reinforcemeants just faded away to who knows where or when. But DS-9 and the worm hole survived.
