Looks sick man want to do same conversion to mine. How did the head bearings fit? what did you have to do to make it work?

@Mcnutts3 just standard head bearings, r1 and r6 are the same, you just need to press the r6 yoke stem into r1 lower yoke.

did u take the motor out the bike while doing this and how much did the paint cost and was it spay paint ?

Nice bike! I ride a '99 R6, I really like the twin exhaust set up.  Is it custom? Or did you buy a twin exhaust set up specific for the bike? Also, did you add the turn signals on the tail or did the bike come like that?

What exhaust/ muffler did you use for this?

cheers, i stripped the bike down and cleaned the frame and swingarm, then just primed and sprayed with satin black, good preparation helps. It wouldnt be as hard wearing as powder coating but i was wanting to finish the bike quite quick and do as much as i can myself. All done with rattle cans, including the wheels so little cost, just time.

thats a really clean r6, did you get a new frame or have it powder coated, im thinking about getting mine powder coated...
