By my count for 2009 current team of 30 players, there are 17 Pakeha,4 Maori an 7 Samoan 2 fijians. That is not most, most the Samoan players were born in NZ, or came here before the age of 5, except siti. I just wish there were more Maori players making it too the top level.

Why are they claiming it's a Hawaiian War Dance? It's a blatant rip off of Kapa O Pango the MAORI War Dance the All Blacks (New Zealand Rugby Union) team use before some games... Apart from the ending, if I'm not mistaken, parts of it are taken from the "Ruaumoko" haka. They need to either be taught properly or not do it at all because thier rendition was shit.

The term "islander" was coined in the 70s to explain the increased immigration of peoples from the Pacific Islands into NZ. It has nothing to do with anything else, especially NOT race.
