For those wondering , this has nothing to do with the shoegaze band of the same name. I thought it was a cover of the Slowdive song "Slowdive" haha. Oh well. Still very impressive though. Sir James Murphy = Genius
It's a cover of Siouxsie And The Banshees, from their 1982's ''A Kiss In The Dreamhouse album''. ALLMUSIC describes the original version as "a violin-colored dance beat number with a catchy melodic hook". It's not surprising that Murphy covered it.
What a great track it is !!! I didn't know it was a Siouxsie And The Banshees cover.
I'm sure james Murphy must have also enjoyed Siouxsie's "Peek-A-Boo" and "Happy House" 'cse they are both dancey.
