This is the only way available to continue the star wars story that includes characters from eps 4,5 and 6. The actors are to old to do live action show or movie.

It has indeed been so long since they shot the films with the original trilogy actors that it would be far too late to shoot a live action series (Even though I'd love to see a live action sequel trilogy, I as a fan have resigned myself to that fact).

Now if they'd continue this animated series and feature the entirety of the Yuuzhan Vong war, all would be balanced with the Force to me. :)

Not only that, but it would give LucasArts something to do other than releasing HORRIBLE storylines in games that butcher the existing canon to death (By the time I was done playing through both The Force Unleashed games (including the god-awful alternate universe storylines), I force-puked onto my caf table).

I'm all for a post ep. 6 animated series ala Clone Wars's style.

You're talking about Bane's order who follow the rule of two. The One Sith have recieved training from the Sith spirits on Korriban so they are as Sith as Bane's orders. There's no need to call people idiots.

Sith spirits cant train a true sith, they only train Dark Jedi, because to be a true sith, u must learn from a Sith alive that will teach how to achieve the full power of the Dark Side, and only a living person can do that.

This would make a great show, as long as they didn't screw it up. I originally thought the Thrawn trilogy would make a good 7, 8 and 9 until I learned of the graphic novel trilogy when the Clone of the Emperor comes to reclaim the galaxy along with a few other sith. Those would make good sequels.

I think there may be room for something like this that deals with the new republic. As for the animation styles thats not something I know anything about but what I do think is that the Thrawn trilogy and the Jedi academy trilogy are good tales and could transfer to tv quite well if given the proper treatment

They say it is a fan film, but the style is WAY too similar to some of the Clone Wars series. The simpsons looked bad their first few years, who is to say this was not a viral attempt of Lucasfilm to see if people would accept an early concept of a stylized animated Star Wars series. GL has mentioned that there is another animated series coming. I hope for an "After Jedi" version just like this.

This looks so cool! I would love for Lucas to make this into a TV series. I read on IMDB that he is already making a live action Star Wars Rebelion series, which I am really looking forward to. I also really love the stories of the characters after episode six and would love to see them shown on television. You should definitely send this to Lucas and see if he would produce it.

Why not make your own film that's 100% original instead of copying off of star wars, which you will never own, and Lucas can 'Cease and Desist' away from you if he wanted to. This is sweet! They've done two "Clone Wars" animated series. Someone should really take this idea and go with it. It would be awesome if whoever created this trailer would create more stuff. Just all of the Thrawn Trilogy type stuff. It's so cool seeing thrawn, mara jade, Leia, and all those people in animated form like this. Nice job!

There are so many good stories out in the Star Wars universe that are totally untapped- the Thrawn trilogy, the X-Wing series, The Jedi Acadamy trilogy and the Corellian trilogy just to name a few. With the success of the animated Clone Wars series, it opens up a whole new world to Lucasfilm. I'm not crazy about CG, but I will say this: if they make it- I'll fraggin' watch it!!!
