The difference between this and Irish Step Dance is that Irish Step Dance is much classier. In fact, clogging, when the choreographer respects the history and culture behind it, is a great reflection of Appalachain heritage. This, however is not.

@miriamfoxx yeah, the dance competition world has definitely changed modern clogging. the first indication is the music. when i was clogging, we used traditional bluegrass music and had very little arm movement.

just noticing the differences... these girls are tremedously talented!!

Tap goes on the up beat of the music, whereas clogging goes on the down beat.
