Yes, actually it is a big deal. I was in the Army, so I think I know a thing or two about profanity...I'm not "personally" offended by it. But I think it does a disservice to the image and reputation of both schools in question as well as the young men playing. I'm not naive, I know teenage boys have heard far worse, but I was under the impression that High School Football was a family friendly and all-ages activity. I certainly didn't expect to hear that when I played the video.

At 5:44, the defender really put the hurt on the Allen quarterback. The only thing is, it was fourth down. He would have been much better off trying to deflect the pass. But all he could think about was making a punishing hit. Because that's what gets the "oohs" and "aahs" and the congratulations from teammates. Or would have, that is, if his showboating hadn't given up the first down and possibly cost his team the state championship. Hope it was worth it to him.
