We know that hypnotised subjects and think something is hot when it's cold, and vice versa. As far as chilli hot, I expect the same to be true but I haven't tried it. The person may be able to eat more chilli, but the effect of eating the chilli will still be present ie if someone would normally feel ill after eating a chilli they may get the same reaction after eating a chilli under hypnosis.

I use various tests (in hypnosis) to check that a person is hypnotised.

If you hypnotized someone and told them that eating a ghost chili pepper wouldn't be hot to them,would they feel any heat at all? I think it would be rather fun if I could eat a chili and not notice any heat.

Also can you tell if a person is suggestible just by talking with them or do you have to try to hypnotize to find out? Hypnosis is such a fascinating subject,I'd love to be hypnotized.
