yea alex pretty much said it... plus the fact that turbos do not put anywhere near the stress on the drive shaft as much as a belt driven supercharger does... thought you will alos have to have some mods done to reinforce your rear and tranny turbos are cheaper all around since the belt driven is tied almost directly to the driveshaft putting extra stress on it. But for muscle cars such as Trans Ams(which i have) camaros mustangs vettes etc... superchargers give that pure sex sound lol.. turbo

@StettB26 superchargers put more strain on the driveshafts? where on earth are you getting this from? the driveshaft goes from the tail end of the transmission to the pinion gear in the rear diff. superchargers literally have no direct effect on driveshafts. yeah sure they put some parasitic loss on the motor because the serpentine belt now has to turn another pulley, but there is in no way shape or for more stress on the driveshaft. that is one of the most ridiculous things i have ever head.

@czarmed depends dude. turbos wind up longer down the line but have the risk of turbolag from the start line. superchargers have the best launch because theyre belt driven so theres no lag. this give all the power right from the start. personally i say superchargers are stronger. its mostly opinion on what people prefer on their car.

@czarmed only certain cars come with superchargers. the shelby gt500, the saleen s281, and the roush mustangs are the only ones that come with them and they cost a fortune. aside from that you have to buy it separate. the actual name is Kenne Belle and its a brand of superchargers. one of the best. Roush, Ford, and Saleen also make them too.

Kenne Bell...? Sounds nothing like my '03 Terminator. I've got the 2.8H, this sounds and looks like a fairly stock Termy. I mean almost none are stock, maybe a port mod, tune... But it really looks fairly stock. Although it seems slightly quicker on the top end, so I think it's got some bolt-on's, maybe a pulley, maybe tune ya know.

Is this just a guess that it's a KB? My KB sounds nothing like this, and my 2.8H sounds virtually identical to my friends 2.6...

If it is a KB (which its not), it's pretty slow. Between 4-5 second 0-60 can be done on a stock Cobra, which is why I said it's a mostly stock car.

that isnt a dyno test because you cant do WOT until the wheels are up to speed or else it'll fall off the dyno. ive seen it happen. they're also a lot shorter they accelerate slowly until theyre in a high gear and then do a quick run through that gear and that produces a reading. also you can see the change in lighting on the dashboard, it wouldn't change if it wasn't moving
