When I was 14 I bought 3 of them (66, 68, & 72) for $75 bucks. I wish I would have kept them and restored them. They were a fun little bike to ride when I was a kid not to mention you go to the moon and back on a gallon of gas! lol. Maybe one day I'll get another one.
These things beat the living HELL out of any moped I've ever seen. A friend of mine just acquired one and he is in the process of cleaning out the carb/tank and repairing it. I was very intrigued. seems like an awesome setup.
looks like the chain is a little tight, notice how the wheel stops kind of like the brake was tapped. i have a 73 ct90 all original with 794 miles, and a 78ct90 that i found in a barn, its currently in peices, ive im rebuilding the motor at the moment and have most of the peices repainted, you have a sweet bike.
The 74's never had a trail sprocket like the mid 60's models. They have a high/low range mid transmission and yes they're more fun that you can imagine!

Nice bike. Looks like someone removed the trail sprocket on the rear though.
