  • It should be a Wolverine Stang Ha HA.

  • niceee!

  • I love the sound of MAC exhaust. Nice Stang.

  • how much would it cost me for a 5 speed tranny for my 95 mustang v6?

  • fuck... thats a beautiful machine.....

  • do you just have the catback, or do you have an aftermarket midpipe?

  • it's beautiful

  • sounds like a motorcycle

  • I just bought a 98 GT a few weeks ago and have only done the exhaust and plan on swappng the heads. Did you do the swap yourself? If you did, anythng i should know? I swapped the cams in my cobra and that was easy.

  • nice rims, nice sound, nice car.. perfect package.

  • I had a 87 camaro once that was fast & never enjoyed it as much as I did a stang. I have had 4 stangs & I wil never look back. I was bowtie all the way until I sat in a mustang and understood how much fun they are.And as far as "hardcore" I simply cannot hold myself back from the stereotype that camaros carry. The fact my name isnt Tony,Im not middle aged, I dont live in N.Jersey,& I dont keep my smokes in my sleeve rolled up & I dont have a toothpick in my mouth and say YO alot.Have a nice day

  • chevy fans at car shows that I have attended and racing forums that I was involved in. And for the most part, most chevy fans have an attitude that ford is dogshit and unless it's a chevy it's nothing. And I have in turn, come in contact with many Ford fans who can see a chevy and consider it a nice car. And on many occations the owner of said chevy would in turn take every chance to downgrade the Ford. So if that makes me sound like rice then so be it oh one last thing.........

  • SAtownz28...sorry I offended you. Its a shame I have not a whole wealth of info for chevys like yourself seeing you must also know that the smaller motor in a mustang was not aimed at the female demographic but more of a better bang for the buck. And as far as sounding like a "ricer" myself perhaps the "ricers" have have come across too many small minded domestic owners who couldnt see past their egos and considered there cars usless. I personally over the years have come across far too many

  • douglashope must be a ricer or a chevy guy who has seen the back of a few hoped up mustangs and is getting his feelings hurt all the time and must lash out at the owners.....so if they are so "GAY" why did the camaro and the firebird and gto stop selling??? Oh maybe there just arent enough "GAY" fuckers out there wanting to buy a "GAY" enough car? So why did GM get a bailout again? Are they still just not selling? Wow maybe they should "GAY" them up and sell like FORD does...........jackass

  • actually your the one talking like a ricer bringing up the bailout. and the only reason the stang outsold the f-body was because the mustang aimed at both guys and girls which is why i seem more and more women driving stangs every day. but mainly v6's. the f-body was aimed at a more hardcore group of people. which is why it came with a 5.7 liter engine. & its also why the body was made aerodynamic. but all aside both are great and fast cars that will own any ricer on the street!

  • after 97 explorers came with a 4.6 because ford stopped production of the 5.0. those 4.6l had the pi heads and would be an improvement over the stock mustangs.

  • kashi16 dont go PI i have it on my 1998 mustang and it was the worst thing i ever did to my car get the TRICKFLOW heads

if you put PI heads your car is still going to be stock your basicly taking heads off a stock mustang and putting them on a stock mustang it dose nothing if your looking to real street performance

  • Uhm..Not true.

You're putting heads off a stock mustang that is NEWER. So yes, in essence, it is stock to stock, but these heads were not stock on 96-98 GT's. You can gain anywhere from 30-45 rwhp on heads alone. Some say you can gain more.

Plus your compression will be 10:1.

  • i have a 96.. what heads should i put on... do you think i should do the pi swap or is there something better?? could you also give me price? thanks

  • fuck yeah this model kills the new model nowadays.

nothing beats the og classics tho

  • Shemmy, sorry you're wrong. The 99-mid 01's were windsor, and the other half of 01-04 were romeo. And the 96 gt is also a modular design

  • hi, i have a 1996 mustang gt, i want to do the pi head swap... you guys were talking about taking the heads off explorers? will that work? also, if i dont go the pi route. what heads would you guys recomened? any help would be appreciated.

  • Nice car

What is the name of the song?

  • They won't fit. I don't think 96 explorers had a modular V8 engine.

You would want Romeo style PI heads and intake from a 00-04 4.6L modular V8. There are two styles, Windsor and Romeo. 98 GTs are Romeo.

  • Man, what a beauty! Great sound

  • I see u got PI heads, did u also get a PI intake manifold?

  • im pretty sure u have to go w/ a pi intake. but if u dont wanna go that route, take a look at livernois motorsports website, they have frpp high performance heads for nonpi motors. supposed to add 35 hp or so. just as good as pi heads but were purposly designed for nonpi motors. im about to get a set w/ xe268h's and mac LT's and h-pipe.

  • oh no shit?? where did u hear about these?

  • how much cost the PI Heads for a swap??

  • nice ride man. Ive three headswaps on my 96-98 cars. One with aggresive erson regrinds. Fixing to do another one on a car a just picked up

To the guy asking about a low 13 second pass. Yeah, you can easily. I went 13.19 @ 104.71 with stock PI heads, offroad h, pullies, kn, T/A, with 3.73's. Just get a set of dr's to hook up with.

  • what type of rims are those and what size tires, pls. Nice ride btw

  • Those look like 18" Saleen wheels, proabley 9" wide, but could be 10" wide. So either 275 or 305 tires.

  • Have any idea where I could get a set of those? I'd like to put em on a 96 thunderbird.

  • nice car man..i like those tips u put on

  • WHEW! That sound's awesome holy!! Man, I'm gonna get a 96' in a couple of year's... nice video!!

  • Awesome vid. Beautiful sound. I going with basically the same set up, only with ported & polished heads. Did you do any other upgrades like exhaust, headers, tune, ect.?, and if you know, how much HP do you have now with your set up?

  • Take a look at the older comments. They should answer your questions. Thanks!

  • this shit is crucial as hell imma get my 98 real soon

  • you should get 3.73 gears on that baby

  • It's got 4.10s.

  • did it have 4.10's in the vid or did u get them after ?

  • After.

  • im a 97 owner getting ready to install vt stage 1's... same reasoning. im actually installing a full PI block out of an 01 with the cams. pretty pumped about it!

anyway, i see ya'll are talking a lot about the heads and cams. did you do the full HCI swap or just the heads and cams?

  • Hey sweet ride man. I got a 98 as well and i'm thinking of doing the headswap as well. Have you takin it to the track yet? If i could pull a low 13 I would be happy. Thanks.

  • For one thing, the stock heads on my '98 Mustang were very restrictive. Google Non-PI vs PI heads. PI heads came stock on 99 - 04 GT Mustangs. I had a lot to gain, plus the new heads gave me more compression. I would say I gained around 50-60 hp just with the heads.

Your car has the new 3 valve design which is great. I wouldn't mess with the heads. With a few bolt on mods and a good tune you should see 300 to the wheels. Save your money for the blower.

  • badass car, i have same color and everything but just a '96. i plan on gettin same rims and all.

  • MAybe im just picky, yet i wudnt put cobra rims on a regular gt. Its obviouse its not a cobra, it doesnt have round fog lamps. It doesnt play the part.

  • They're saleen reps :|

  • Although they are Saleen rims, I don't see a problem putting Cobra wheels on any Mustang.

  • what kind of MAC pipe...of course off-road, but which one? Nice car, wheels look like 18's...can't beath the SN95 styling...best looking 'Stang they ever put out...

  • They are Saleen 18x10 in the back and 18x9 in the front. In the previous reply I thought I was commenting on another video where I had my Bullit wheels on the car. It's a MAC off-road h-pipe.

  • What made you decide on the VT Stage I cams over the VT Stage II cams? Just curious...

  • I went with the Stage I cams because I didn't want to lose any hp or torque in the lower rpm range. I think there is a flatter torque curve too.

  • What kind and what size tires u have on those wheels?

  • 275 Nitto Drag radials. They are 17x9" wheels in the back. The front is 245 and 17x8".

  • any numbers?

  • one meeeelllllliiiioooonnn HP....

270s/290s rwhp/rwtq. Not bad, not great, but it's fun.

  • Sounds goodand looks good! How are the pi heads?

  • is that a gt or no.. i cant read the rear bumper

  • Yes, it is.

  • hey man are your midpipes catted or off-road?

  • Mac off-road h-pipe.

  • sweet
