this is so true of what happens-not just in hollywood-but everywhere. i could only feel compassion for mw'scharacter. his hard work towards sobriety gone and the utter devastation it leaves him in-which no one really comprehends. heart wrenching. brilliant acting job by mw.
From what I can tell that's the whole point of this movie...the people who are supposed to be there for the directors, they say they're your friends and they ultimately treat you like shit
Niro's head tilt at 1:15 cracks me up every time even though it's there for only a fraction of a second.

I love how De Niro glanced at his watch while he was hugging Wincott. A great example of Hollywood insincerity at its zenith.
