  • That is sooo totally wrong everyone. I do gymnastics and you have to lean off balance then you have to bend and jump. Also you shouldn't throw your arms back!

  • @evilgerbiyu You gotta practice a handstand alot before you can do this. You can practise by doing a handstand and then hold it for 10 seconds. When you can do that then start doing handstand jumps, where you jump off the ground with your hands, do a clap or alike if u want, then land back on your hands. When you can do that like 5 times straight you can try doing this trick again. Should work for you.

  • @evilgerbiyu Well, then you can get a spotter, do the trick, but really focus on hold those arms straight and hold it there. So your spotter kinda helps you get into a handstand. Then it shouldnt take long before you get it :)

  • uhhmm. thats wrong. your hands are supposed to start at you ears and then you swimng them down. good job

  • @dribblegiggle7 No, hands start out in front for bhs. When you start with them up at your ears it causes you to drop your chest when you swing, which causes you to undercut. If you learn standing back tuck for gymnastics, it is usually taught with ams up by yours ears to begin (not in cheerleading though; then it is usually taught with a swing from low v). :)

  • @akbarthegreat03 Think you jump into the handstand, not on your head. Have confidence ! At the first try you may be a bit desorientated, but at the second the things are changing completely. So, one more time: JUMP TO HANDSTAND, not on your head. And keep your arms strong at the first trys. Good luck !

  • @Admiral3131 actaually yeah i used to have the same problem what you do is you stretch out your wrists first and it usually helps and if that doesnt hepl try getting more thiegth or going farther back

  • @yoosuf29 seems like you need to find the midway between jumping too high and too far back.

    as you throw your arms over, follow them with your head and watch where they go. obviously when you see then ground then you can react accordingly

  • Only if you think like that. Commit to the trick, don't jump back then think "oh noes!", follow these tips commit and it's easy as pie.

  • @MrURBANNINJA It's easy to say, but you have to use the momentum you got with a previous move (ro or bhs for example) and continue ur bhs... It's all about the mind...

  • @shaolindude1 i have the same problem and im able to do a fronthandspring and to jump into a handspring too.

  • i been practicing a lot and i can do it now, the reason that i was falling in my hands wrong is that i started low and i jumped more back then diagonal so it was hard to catch wrong, you need to jump back and up and start with a little bend in you're knees not to low because it's harder to get the jump up. good luck!

  • Do a handstand but instead of stalling/keeping the handstand, use your arms to spring yourself back into normal position..
