I remember playing Tomb Raider in the summer with this song ^,^ and after that I would go outside and watch my older sis trade pokemon cards with random kids from the block. lol 90's FTW
@iamnobodeh Then i guess you're pretty narrow-minded, because the variety of people on earth is staggering. The God you were taught about is a lie. Grow up and explore the world, think for yourself.
@SubSalac The narrow-minded one is you. I love Eiffel 65 this song is catchy but corny. You're the one who's narrow-minded because you won't let people have their own opinion. And randomly mentioning God in this conversation has me under the impression that you're crazy, and wrong. Please shut up. :)
@iamnobodeh You made a blanket statement about a gender in the entire world. You're the one using absolutist terms like "any chick". ANY female. Not a single female. Not a fringe group of females. Perhaps not even a statistically significant portion of females. Look up what narrow-minded means. You can have an opinion and still be wrong, and I have the right to criticize your opinion on public forum of discussion.
I think part of the appeal of this group is that they're sort of a refreshing change from the repetitive mainstream music. Whilst some of their songs were silly and pure fun, others had really thoughtful messages - so different from the glitzed-up, sexually charged music that is consantly blasted over the airwaves; it gets to be too much after a while. with this group (and Bloom 06), I can never tire of their songs and the nostalgia and happiness they bring.
I love this song. Don't get why it wasn't more popular. Used to listen to it all the time when I bought the Europop CD when I was 9 to hear "I'm Blue."
@ABCsuckmyD123 You know I've never really had sex; but despite my naivety that idea crossed my mind.....fun to know someone else had the same thought!!XD
@JeremyLovesFamily you are right friend, they like the lady gaga and pink stuff that looks nothing like music to me. we must have something in our heads that allows us to appreciate good music ( unlike them) Viva Eiffel 65
@eiffel65bigfan and this might suprise you,but im 10,and i still like this stuff.and most of the music i like is actually from the 1900s,especually eiffle65,boston,and journey
@pinhead61187 i'm catholic,and i'll never EVER do drugs.P.S.,iv'e never heard of those people,and i'm glad I don't.And again,I only mostly like 1900's music.
I was a huge fan of eiffel 65 back then when i lived in europe, i just heard this song (i never had their album "europop") , and i think this song is the only one that makes sense:) yes , it is nerdish, but if you see nerds go and re-think it. IT IS ABOUT LOVE
i just listened 2 this track & it completely transported me to when i was 17 again in the party scene. absolutely amazing a song can do that to you! I luv eiffel 65. Many amazing foolish party memories :)
No matter how good this song is, do not confuse the thumbs down button for a download button, even if it might slightly resemble a downward arrow to you, do not click it, 17 people thought it was. Don't regret it, just thumb up it!
If Eiffel 65 peaked in 2011, they'd be far bigger. They were doing stuff in 1999 that'd become popular in the US a decade later. Victim of circumstance.
@heythereadam They made popular what was not as mainstream as it is today. The one thing in common i see is the use of auto-tune he uses and that all lousy bands/artists use today. Their use of Autotune didnt bother me, people may say he cant sing but that was the genre music they played EDM, it was 'electronic' music so they could be forgiven for using that over the vocals in every song. Was good music tho.
@heythereadam This was a huge album. Late 90s "techno" was underground in the US but it was main stream in Europe at the time. E65 is an Italian group that blew up more than they ever expected to.
all i know is i am in my 20's now and this brings me back to elementary school hella, first brush with techno that opened my eyes to all the techno i listen to nowadays. ganga kudos
