Global Warming is all about PREVENTION! Knowing the current trends, like uncontrollable exponential population growth, amounts of Chloroflourocarbons we emit each year, and our squabbling energy efficiency rate.

When you say we should get off foreign oil and onto solar, wind and nuclear energy, you have nearly the same objectives as the proponent for global warming, so for that, I agree lol.

well actually corn is a very nitrate heavy crop, the ammonia needed in the fertilizer produces more carbon in it's manufacture than it saves vs other fossil fuels. Then add on to that issues it creates like gulf of Mexico dead zone. Growing food for fuel works out to be dumb in the end, but it is a stepping stone to better technologies.

Sorry but theres more and its all hitting as we speak. Goldman sachs has their people in many top financial spots. fed.commerce, treasury CBs all over the world. They own the market. Most traders have recognized the governments hand on the trading floor. Any smart person reading these signs should buy food soonest enuff for 8 months and silver rounds if you have extra.

Yeah, I agree with you on the economic front. I'm just not sure about global warming. It's a pretty complex issue and unlike economics, there is really no way to be 100% sure what's natural and what's human.

Besides, I'm sure we'll use up most of our oil with or without carbon taxes. (Or maybe oil consevation is why they're pushing for that sort of thing?)

I think I'd agree with you for the most part on the economic stuff, but global warming is so much more complex in terms of determining what's a natural and what's a human factor that I'm just skeptical of anyone making money...

Besides, I'm sure we'll burn our oil before they can get carbon taxes going worldwide. (or maybe they whole reason they're pushing it is to conserve oil?)

Oh and there are other rounds besides silver that everyone should stock up on ;)
