  • hell yea dude ! play the whole tune !!!!!!!

  • Superb!

  • Man that was really nice! well done.

  • Is it an ES-335 or Ibanez Artstar ?

  • nicely done, is there a tab for this?

  • Nice work. Do you have tab for this. Everything I've found is no where close.

  • Nice!

  • Out of everyone I've seen on Youtube, you have the most EJ way of playing his songs. You use the same chord shapes, the same lateral scales rather than up and down scales and have the most, how can i put it, 'Eric' way of approaching his tunes. Theres some great players on youtube but for my money, you really have the strongest hold on his guitar style and I congratulate you sir, very very impressive.

  • Best part 00:00 to 00:25 5/5

  • can someone put up a video of this played slowly? I cant find good tab for this and I want to learn it.

  • Great job dude... I wish I could play like that!

  • Hermoso

  • I started trying to play this lick in 1979 the first time I saw Eric play. You are darn close! you have the same glitches I do running those double stops up the neck resolving into the F pentatonic...it's tough! You sound great though, what amp/effects are you using? Kudo's fellow EJ fan!!

  • amazing man... very clear! the best cover i've seen! keep rockingggg

I would like to hear you playing Camels night out :D... hope to see the cover soon

  • awsome! keep that up! awsome dude! i wonder how long he has been pratcieing?

  • awesome! i'm workin on this one right now, and you've got that intro down perfectly. great tone as well. keep it up.

  • Queremos + \o/

  • sounds good now lets here the rest of the song. lol! your good!

  • I give you five stars for this:D

  • nice tone man, what are ya playin though?

  • Really nice!

  • (On my knees)

Would you consider doing that again, at half-speed for us mere mortals??? (2)

  • Wow - nice job! Nice tone too. What's your setup?

  • as usual, awesome!

  • (shakes head in disbelief.) Amazing!

Would you consider doing that again, at half-speed for us mere mortals?

  • yeah u right...i have learn lot of things just watching the concerts.I gonna "waste" some time watching EJ videos...and some of your videos too

    peace

  • Thanks. Eric is notorious for sacrificing ease of execution for better tone...that's why tab books are usually inaccurate. Watching him play is probably the best way to get a sense of his position shifts, accents and inflections.

  • so you mean that on the web there isn't a correct tab of the tune?

  • What he's saying is that while the tabs will give a pretty close representation of how the song sounds, they won't necessarily be representative of how the song is played.

Tabs are usually written to show the easiest way to play a song, so in essence, you can learn how to play the song from tabs, but you won't be able to replicate the nuances of the technique, tone, etc. that way.

Anyway, your tone is spot on there SSVR, and good playing. Been trying to learn this. What equipment do you use?

  • thats really amzing...just like EJ...

where did u learn it???...i found a original songbook of zap...but the tab shows a different way, different from what eric plays.
