The Polish garrison occupying the Kremlin was itself besieged by the Russian Volunteer Army under the command of Prince Pozharsky. After the Polish relief force under Hetman Chodkiewicz was defeated in a four day battle outside of Moscow, the besieged Poles in the Kremlin surrendered shortly after due to starvation. The Poles failed to hold on to Moscow as well as failed to impose their rule and Catholicism.

To Europeans of that time and even somewhat now every ethnic group is a different race. There are deep divisions among ethnic, religious groups that in this country are united under the banner of white. So your observation about russians enslaving white people is a bit unknowing. The strength of North America is the notion of a united ethnic class of Europeans, called white.
