Be AWARE people, this nvidia card have a defect, I just lost my Vaio FZ21Z last night, the GeForce 8600GS crash down!!!

If you search you will find a lot of people with problems with this crap graphic card!!!!

I have the FZ38 M and i don't have any problems with the graphic card (NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT GPU). I don't if it the same as yours.

Anyways, this VAIO serie is not sold anymore.

Mine (FZ150 8400m gt) died after 1Year.(august 2008). becarefull with using it for games or with poor ventilation. the repair shop offered me(aug 08) $250 for my $2000 laptop. 8400 M gt has the same problem everything starts with vertical lines on screen.

This is weird. Off course I believe you, but I've discussed with a representative on the phone and she told me that they are unable to provide me a Sony Vaio FZ with XP on it! I'm really not into Vista right now but...

She also told me that I will have software issues if I decide to "downgrade" to XP.

Am I the only one thinking that "downgrading" to XP is actually an UPGRADE!?

im deciding betweeh this and the SZ series, im so confused, can someone help me decide pls by replying!!! What makes me wanan get this is the Blu-Ray cuz I just purchased a new Sony Full HD TV so i mean need i say more, but then again i want portability!!

If you want Blu-Ray, then this might be worthwhile since you can use this computer as your Blu-Ray DVD player. However, it might be a pain to have to plug it into the TV every time you want to watch a Blu-Ray DVD instead of using a stand alone Blu-Ray player.
