Bill, I have the same keyboard as you, or very similar to it. Where do I set the volume that would best approximate that of an acoustic piano. I notice the sound gets blurred if I set it too high.

When I'm playing I usually set the volume around three quarters, which I reckon is a pretty good approximation of an acoustic piano. You're right - if you turn it up too far it does distort a little. In my videos I set it around halfway so I know I can bash quite hard on the keyboard without having to worry too much about problems in the recording.
