Jenna Bush was indeed the most beautiful of the White House brides, at least by our modern standards. Apparently Nellie Grant was too and there are some pictures of Alice Roosevelt that show her as a stunner but some not so great. She knew how to present herself and how to pick the best pictures. Not a small skill for a public person.
These E.D. Hill - Doug Wead interviews are great because of the substance. Lots of info in a very short period of time. Very informative. I love these.
Who else misses E.D. Hill? Beautiful and sassy. And smart and personable.

E. D. Hill was fabulous. She was obviously squeezed out. I hate it when inner office politics trumps talent.

I think by staying out of the White House limelight as much as possible, the twins added a mystery to themselves that was intriguing.
For that reason, I enjoyed what little news comments there was about the wedding, including Doug W@ead's.

Rule of thumb in politics, idiot. You never, EVER, pick on the innocent children. That's the lowest of the low and you're one of them.
