Lo he hecho yo, basicamente es un ac30 con poco volumen, luego le metes un screamer en la distorsion bastante saturado, ecualizando los medios, un poco de compressión un delay bastante corto unos 40ms, para la parte de despues del solo le añado otro largo, y poco mas- Te lo pasaria pero el x3 no es compatible con el xt

You can run it through a cab, but you need a preamp. The pod you can run through al that you want.

You need a poweramp, you can still run it through a preamp but its better directly to the poweramp. You can buy a poweramp, or an amp what would allow you to connect an external preamp.

If you are going to connect it to a regular amp, the sound might change a bit, you need to plug it on the clean channel.

Marshall and atomic amps are two companies that manufacture poweramps.

Basically all amps have to sections a pre and a power. You want to use your POD as a preamp.

í don´t know, i haven´t a gt8. But gt8 has not dual tone, and for recording with a computer i think that a x3 is better.

but! from what i understand (after reading the manual for the pod), you can only have 1 mod effect per tone(might as well be for patch). that sucks ass!!! you can't do flanger with phaser, phaser with vibrato are whatever. that's a BIG thing for me. apart from that i think the pod should have more mesaqboogie sims.

and apart from those two crucial points the pod kicks ass.

The GT-8 DOES have duel amp syms. I run it like that all the time. Mesa out to left and marshal out to right.

But I want a POD as well. XTL or X3 ... still not sure.

podx3 have better sounds. i like my podxt and my digitech genesis3 and will never sell, i dont like that kind of product made by boss vox and yamaha. some kind of cool stuf id like to buy, m-audio black box, digitech gnx4, podx3 live, korg ax3000, native instrument guitar rig2. they all have good points that the others dont have.

Funny, i find the opposite. I think the POD has a very digital sound. I can get my BOSS to do anything.

But the X3 has my attention. The X3 and GT8 together would be unstoppable.

I run direct into two actives from a mixer and the sound is stellar.

electro harmonix hog is very high quality good sound but limited compare to all that effects.

Quisiera el POD X3 Live pero no estoy muy seguro de su calidad.. Me dicen que la X3 es mejor.. pero las prestaciones de la Live me interesan mas.. por aquello del MIDI, las demas salidas Digitales..

I think that its a lot of better, and it has more sounds and options. The emulated amp sound better and the effect too.
