My grand mother and my mother was raised in Mindanao.. She never ran out of war stories.. some people might think its fun specialy when they think about computer games and stuff like that but in reality, theres nothing funny about your house getting riddled by bullets and heads chopped off in front of you.

the americans says that iraq, and afghanistan are the worst place at war. .then let them eat those words, mindanao is far more worse than 2 of that places just think of this MILF? NPA? ABU SAYAFF? BMA? this groups are time tested already they are waging war to the government for decades, guerilla tactics are superb. .and the civilian in the south for them RIFLES and other guns are like toys for them. .lets face it peace is far from reality in mindanao. .

in the Philippines people are not afraid to fight cause they have allies like for instance im not afraid to bully other people cause i have a friend who works as a police or i have a family member who works as a military personnel this is what i know in my country and it will remain as long as they have power over the weak

people wont listen to law enfocer becoz there r just a few of them assigned at sulu..try to thk bwt d ratio of law enforcer agnst criminals one polceman against 500 civilians. ther is a city which has 4 policeman to serve n protect and has a limited logistcal support. and most of dis policeman belongs to a clan in which dey cant meddle in dis clan war,,bcoz der famili myt get involve.ds is y military s d best option in dis kind of setting....

I heard once that a muslim sniper raked a Philippine Marine with an AK-47 and cut off the left side of his upper chest, left arm and the left half side of his head, just using the AK-47. good thing i never been deploy in that island i can afford to shoot those kids and innocent people carrying guns and dont have knowledge how to use it in a proper way. those people are been braind was by there leader. and small arguement trigger to a family feud end up in fire fight. just becuz they have guns and dont know how to use it in a proper way. those clans leadr they need to educate there people. cuz there people doesnt listen to the LAW enfocement. and they need pencil and papers LOL'

ive been in the service in the ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES. the real problem is the corruption. just becuz some of those guns are owned by the goverment. and sold it to the riches clans. by the corrupt goverment officials.and some are easyly smuggled in to the island. thats why ARMED FORCES has having a hard time to keep the peace. cuz we dont know who is our enemy. majority of those people in that island has a high power guns.LOL' even though kids carry guns.

What the Philippines need is a strict gun laws with the aid of similar enforcement of the Martial law to remove this gun culture that has ravaged the whole nation.

Due to the government's lack of funds to increase the number of police force patrolling areas in the community, people are in constant fear of crimes involving the use of guns.

Christian nations are too lenient against violators of gun laws not like Islamic countries do to criminals such as drug dealers.

First, there is no strict gun policy in the Philippines that is why is it a perfect country for arms dealers to do a business.

The NPA, CCP, MILF, ASG and even the Philippine government provide a lucrative income for these dealers. They do not mind the consequence of providing weapons to the violent-prone society as long as it serves their interest.
