I accidentally close my computer when it said "shutting down, do not turn off or unplug". How do i get it to turn back on again? It only shows the startup menu and loads for about a minute then it goes and stays on a black screen only showing the mouse. Please help meeee!!!

well as far as i know if you have the backup disc try that if not then you will have to get the XP/Vista disc and when on bootup press F12 and boot from disc. but all you data will be lost either way. if theres anything really important on there i would recommend taking it to a computer shop.

@ilordvader if you are connected to the internet and you are trying to restore. it wont work. Most virus's are "feeding" of the internet. so just unplug the connection and do a system restore from the control panel.
