I was on EM power plus for 6 years and it worked for me. I'm schizoaffective, so I was more severe than bipolar so I need only 2% of some pharmaceuticals. I have had my organs checked yearly and i have no health problems. It works for sure. I would recommend it and this quack doctor is acting like pharmaceuticals don't have side effects over the long term - that is a joke.

I have been in the psychiatric system for around 15 years and believe me, there is no such thing as remission.

Something is wrong with these doctors. If they want to make the claim that we don't know EMPower's safety long term (fair enough), look at what they prescribe! None of these drugs are trialed by the FDA for longer than 9 weeks, yet people are told to take them for years, even a lifetime! And these drugs are KNOWN to have toxic effects.

I think there should be a major change in the mental field. People need knowledge. Emotional intelligence is a good book. I think there should be a guide for this. A book with the supplement on how to think new. Positive,grateful, loveing,hope and faith. These also very important in recovery..

These doctors are so bought and paid for. And highly ignorant to think someone is not allowed the opportunity to feel better. I would trade 20 years of a horrible life for 5 years of a good one, any day. The FDA does not regulate how many supplements out there today? And this one is so much worse, why? Because it may have a positive effect that the drug companies cannot provide for the ill? I am so pissed right now. I am going to try this supplement.

There's a risk that the supplement will potentiate the meds, making your old dosage too much.  You have to work with your doc to reduce your meds as you up the supplement.

I can't believe all the uproar from the goverment to stop ingredients from going to market that essentially come from FOOD!! what are they going to take from us next... our freedom to buy what we want in the "grocery "store.... lets all get educated on big pharma and the FDA, stop buying processed commercially made, GMO filled foods and fight for the freedoms that make us different than 3rd world countries, because if we don't, we just might end up being one someday!

Why is unfathomable that a natural treatment exists for bipolar? Are synthetic chemicals the answer for all our ailments? Unless you have solid proof that it doesn't work, then it would be advisable to allow those who actually used the product to comment on its validity (or lack thereof).

Agreed. This doctor has determined himself judge, jury, and executioner. he makes some good points but his overall concern makes me doubt him. he is a shill for the Pharm company.

I don't think my son has bypolar but it could develop into that later i think he has adhd or add he isreal defiant to people and does deal with anger he has been in a lot of trouble at school. can this help with that? My husband does has bypolar how can I get this medicine for him?

Did your son have any side affects from it? Also is it all natural. My daughter has ADHD. She does fine with shcool work but she is pretty hiper otherwise. CAn this treat that to. The only side effect he had was upset stomach at first -if that happens then start with only one pill and work up from there, and take only with food. Also dont take after 6pm since it can for some people make it harder to sleep. I also highly recommend Omega-3 fish oil. That one's already been proved to help bipolar. As well as a very good, clean diet and daily vigorous exercise. This is a HOLISTIC solution. I would not be surprised if it helped your daughter as well. Give it a try!

This Empower stuff seems to be made by mormons,and in Utah ,the mormon capital of the world.A mormon friend sent me an email about this product, so I'm wondering, are mormons trying to brainwash us with this so called miracle cure? could Empower turn u into a mormon, hmmm, just a thought,jk of course...I love my mormon friends.I don't see ANY scientific research done on this product and it does make me wonder WHY it's not made in Canada.

This really works, After 3 years on this,it has saved my son's life (12 years old). After 9 years of Hell, we can be a family again.
