My heart goes out to not only the beautiful children featured in this video, but also to the parents who had to face the heart-breaking news of the diagnosis. My daughter has parcial ACC with septo optic dysplasia, but amazingly has not so far been affected by it. She is nearly four years old, and appears to have a future ahead of her just like any 'normal' child. These kids with disabilities are even more special, and they all look so happy in the photographs.

Thank you so much for creating this beautiful video. Words cannot express my feelings when I saw my daughter Katie's beautiful face appear at 1:15 and those of all the other gorgeous children featured. I started crying at the beginning, right through to the end. What blessings they all are to us. Sadly our darling Katie passed away in June 2010 but her memory lives on in this beautiful tribute to our inspirational kids. What heroes they truly are .. each and every one. Thank you. ♥

i am 31 and just found out I had this. i came out healthy so i never had any tests done. as a kid i was always labeled as clumbsy, dumb and tired. as i got older and it's progressed i was seen by a neuro dr. i now have weekly PT and OT. I use a wheelchair for outside my home to get around. i do have have severe seizures. however i have a lovely 9 yr old son, i am able to cook, clean, go out, etc...just have to make adjustments...

@momintex09 It happens alot like that, a cat scan is done because of a head injury or something and its discovered.

My son has this brain disorder . He six year old now he still cannot walk or talk but he is still a very happy little boy. i don't know what is in store for him or me. his father left after he find out that he was special needs. thank u

Great video Lynnea :) I wish I could have sent you a picture of my sweet little Katie, but my computer wouldn't cooperate with me :( All the children were so beautiful, and I'm sure it's just not on the outside but also on the inside. Our children do not realize how much of a huge blessing they are in our lives. I try to tell my daughter everyday that I am blessed to have her.

wow Lynnea, what a beautiful video... when I saw my daughter at 1:27 I started crying and continued crying to the end.
