thanks for this vid. Do you have another floor above you or just a roof? If you have another floor above you then the best you might be able to get away with is a support column on the opening end of the wall. I have seen some horror stories where people have completely removed internal walls out of their unit within a multistorey block. lol I was scared to be inside the building. :D They did it without body corporate knowledge and probably have weakened the building a fair amount.
