I read your first book when it was originally first published. I was so excited with it, I purchased five more copies to give to my children and friends.
One of my friends gave me negative feedback and warned me to be careful what I read. He commented there wasn't even a bibliography or notes in the back.

"Fear is based on need" is a statement that can be proven through observation. If we had no needs, we would feel no fear. By extension, we would never feel anger, or jealousy, or envy or hatred.

Thanks for sharing such thought provoking insights into the nature of fear. Fear is a natural emotion. It is normal to feel fear. And while we dn't have a choice about feeilng fear from time to time, we do have a choice about how we respond to it. Ultimately the only way out of fear is by trusting in ourselves, in the power that created us, and stepping forward. It is only then that we come to know that what we feared is simply an illusion.

@sebertkurt I have read almost all of his books, they are very thought provoking. My only point is when he uses the word god a lot of people are turned off by it. Because that word means something different to everyone. If you like Neale's books check out Tom Campbell's my big toe. He is a physisist using scientific language, but it is very simaler to what NDW says without using religious language.

@DarrylWThomas I volonteer in the homeless ministry. Yes, there are a few that are victims of the economy. However; many have been in a long spiral downward. Deepening low self esteem and contempt for others has lead to an inability to interact with family, coworkers and finally cooperating organizations. I would guess 90% of the homeless community. There is much personal growth needed.

ive read all his books. truly awesome person. he has totally given us a new concept of life and death and heaven and hell and god and satan. his books help you understand we are all one with each other and god because god is everything.

From personal experience I can say this - transforming the fear of life is sometimes easier said than done, even when you've taken the first step of recognizing this fear for what it is.
I could be deluding myself, but I believe that once I came to embrace my infinite nature, my fear of death melted away. My fear of life however lingers in some measure to this day since there are still many things my ego-self is attached to.

I don't believe you were conversing with God. I believe you were conversing with a spiritual being, a wise angel. For example, God doesn't choose political parties, schools, or products. He's open to us all.
Jesus said that as he was raised up, he would lift us all up with him. He connects us with God. Jesus is a spiritual being, an immortal son of God. He moves ever closer to Our Infinite Creator and brings us with him. We can talk to Jesus.

I read your first book when it was originally first published. I was so excited with it, I purchased five more copies to give to my children and friends.
One of my friends gave me negative feedback and warned me to be careful what I read. He commented there wasn't even a bibliography or notes in the back.
It was discouraging and I didn't give the matter much more thought...until the past two years when I observed your large following...it has given me joy and comfort.

This is an incoherent argument. The point that he is making is a philosophical one. It has nothing to do with the root meaning of any of the words that he is using. "Fear is based on need" is a statement that can be proven through observation. If we had no needs, we would feel no fear. By extension, we would never feel anger, or jealousy, or envy or hatred.

Thanks for sharing such thought provoking insights into the nature of fear. Fear is a natural emotion. It is normal to feel fear. And while we dn't have a choice about feeilng fear from time to time, we do have a choice about how we respond to it. Ultimately the only way out of fear is by trusting in ourselves, in the power that created us, and stepping forward. It is only then that we come to know that what we feared is simply an illusion.

Cherry picking is slapping God in the face, believe in the Bible without modernizing or toss it.To plea humanity needs an update is exactly what the Bible warns/teaches against/about. There were many more works of Jesus just not recorded. The books compiled were based on writings via eyewitnesses, consistent with practice, in use and already excepted as the words of God, done over many yrs via Holy Spirit.

Many no longer understand the metaphors or language of the Bible for it was written for a different time. I also consider it possible that something may have been lost in translation. Because that word means something different to everyone. If you like Neale's books check out Tom Campbell's my big toe. He is a physisist using scientific language, but it is very simaler to what NDW says without using religious language.

He is talking about the one conciousness that everything is individuated from. Its a view of spirituality that makes since with darwinian evolution and quantum mechanics. on the one hand it seems stupid to me that i even want to listen to someone who states being able to talk with god. on the other hand his book explains to me why i need not necessarily think so or why it doesn't matter if i think so. just like his works declare, even if all its content stem from a man's imagination, would it matter if it still made me happy?

Listen to all you critical people out there:
Truth is something that has to make you feel good and im not reffering to drugs i mean feeling good and happiness out of oneself. I personally listen to these things and my heart becomes much lighter sure you can go on and start analyzing your way trhough every word and find a mistake but your missing the whole experience and only hurting yourself, your hurting yourself trhough the thing that will hurt you all your life if used exesivly, the mind.

NDW is not a prophet but a messenger as we all could be, anyway, stick to your fixed ideas if they are useful to you. It´s commonly better to read the books than to listen or watch these thoughts... Home with God, a great book !

Why does he have to be a "prophet"? He's a guy who is analyzing our modern world and the problems in it, without people like this we wouldn't improve at all. After all, regardless if you believe or not, the philosophy is part of your life. We are spiritual beings with a human exterior, just don't take it seriously.

The biggest message in any religon is love thy neighboor as thyself. LOVE is is message. Most every story in the bible is a metapor for another truth. Fear and Love, all other emotions are stemed from one or the other. God is us and We are God, all steming from one soul. Free choice is our gift, so let us create with the thought of Love in our minds and heart and not with fear.

@shodashi108 Choose not to? That is an assumption that unfortunates NEED us to get better. The only reason that it has meaning to help unfortunates is the energy you get from them by being connected by them. In a point of view it's sometimes even very selfish to help other people if that means ignoring yourself and your direct environment.

@robinsprinkhuizen These "unfortunates" have been systematically disenfranchised and have no way to enter or participate fully to ensure their survival within the money system. I'm sure you understand that and I'm sure you understand that "selfish' is a term you can afford to throw around, seeing that your belly is fed and there's a roof over your head. You could be magnanimous and admit we have a problem here, but you can't even do that. Disgustingly typical elitist reaction from you. Shame.

@DarrylWThomas I volonteer in the homeless ministry. Yes, there are a few that are victims of the economy. However; many have been in a long spiral downward. Deepening low self esteem and contempt for others has lead to an inability to interact with family, coworkers and finally cooperating organizations. I would guess 90% of the homeless community. There is much personal growth needed.

@shodashi108 fear is the root of why we choose not to help others. its not exactly a blatant reason why we do not because we cloud it with excuses. just keep asking yourself why you choose not to do something helpful, and it will ultimately lead to a fear of loss of any sort. that fear can be fear for loss of time you would find is valuable for something else you want to do, and you fear that if you do not spend that time doing something else, that you will not enjoy your experience as you plan

I love this. Should be required viewing for most every human.
From personal experience I can say this - transforming the fear of life is sometimes easier said than done, even when you've taken the first step of recognizing this fear for what it is.
I could be deluding myself, but I believe that once I came to embrace my infinite nature, my fear of death melted away. My fear of life however lingers in some measure to this day since there are still many things my ego-self is attached to.
