Sturm fought out of Germany once about four years ago and was beaten, albeit controversially, on a split points decision by Oscar de la Hoya. As for any possible match between Mundine and Sturm, I don't think it will happen. Mundine can box, I wouldn't try and dispute his talent, but Sturm is a slippery customer and probably would be a little too clever for Chocko.
the IBO reveiwed this fight and decided that Geale should have been given the decision. Mundine now has until 27th Feb 2010 to rematch him or he will be stripped of his title.

Sturm fought out of Germany once about four years ago and was beaten, albeit controversially, on a split points decision by Oscar de la Hoya. As for any possible match between Mundine and Sturm, I don't think it will happen. Mundine can box, I wouldn't try and dispute his talent, but Sturm is a slippery customer and probably would be a little too clever for Chocko.
