finding items are a pain, takes to long to stop blocking, story is boring, some stages are too tight, camera problems when targeting, no combos, only has like 5 different attacks for each character, whats the point of leveling up???, can't play online, your opponent can have literally 1hp and still beat your ass, character dialog is garbage.......the only thing good I can say about it is that the fighting looks cool and the EX mode attacks are great thats pretty much it....

@ultimatepercyfan Yes. Dissidia 012 is a prequel to Dissidia, but the original game's storyline is still in there, but it uses Dissidia 012's new version of the World Map. There are a lot of new characters such as Tifa, Lightning, Kain, Yuna, and Laguna just to name a few. There is also an Assist System now, where you can call on other characters to help you out in battle momentarily. All in all, it takes the awesomeness of the first and multiplies it, so I'd say get 012.

Ok, so it's a fighter but in what way, at all, is it an RPG? Ok, so I haven't played the game but it just looks like a fighting game with a few more options. You didn't seem to go into the RPG aspects at all.
@Disthron It's more of a fighting game than an RPG. You can customize your characters by leveling up, armor, and attacks, but it's basically a fighter.

I got this game on release date finished every campain unlocked every character (even the judge) and now i am on the last of last missions. Guess what you have to fucking do. You have to defeat fucking chaos at fucking lv 110. How should I do that, answere me bitch. This immpossible enemy ruined the game for me and I dont dare take the game out of the psp since I really dont ant to this mission section again. That makes my psp unaccsesseble.
@MrDungeonMasta It's not impossible if the vast majority of people can do it. EX Counter him, or you could always save the state so that you start the mission again from just before you fought Chaos, thus relinquishing your PSP for other stuff.
Or, you could forget about it, because Dissidia 012 is out in a week, which has a better system overall :p

...another thing that me and my friends think was a bad decision was that it should've been sold on the ps3. every time we go to best buy or gamestop, we still see tons of copies in the store. The result is something Final Fantasy fans won't want to miss? The story of this game is garbage. Narrations are bad, voice overs are, as he pointed out, hit and miss. The game should have just sold as a simple fighting game.
Id say theres a lot of interesting titles on PSP, but if you just care about a few titles, you might wanna wait since Sony has been thinking about releasing ports of this and other games.
IGN, I have a question, in the beginning, it has the video of dissidia smaller, and then a other thing filling the rest of the screen, how would you do that in window movie maker? I'd like to make my own version of it, and not use one of the pre-made ones.
I haven't yet played Crisis Core, but alot of the pleasure you get out of that game will depend to how much you've played FF VII. Since you haven't I'd recommend Dissidia. Even though not very detailed, there is some small background text on each character you have in Dissidia, giving more insight to what each character did in their game.
@arcaninebeast You should definatly get Dissidia over Crissis Core (though if your not desperate the second Dissidia game is coming out in a couple of months which is looking 10 times as good as the first one, and the first one was mindblowing so) though both of these games are spin offs and don't have the classic final fantasy feel to them, so maybe look some other ones first (considering Dissidia is loads more fun if you've played the originals)
holy shit!! one game that ign gives a godd review that's not call of duty or halo. it's a miracle. but then.. how can you hate this game? unless you suck at it. i would give this game a 9.5 of 10. the only reason i would dock off a half a point is the lack of playing as the bad guys in story. i know it makes no sense as to why they would want to stop chaos but still. i would love to fuck chaos up as a lvl. 100 sephiroth or ultimecia.

i think this game is awesome i bought it three days after its release then when i got my psp go the wednesday just gone i bought from the PSN store this game is 10/10 for me love final fantasy games always have done can't wait for dissidia 2 though, because a few more characters are getting released and the storyline supposed to get better so can't wait but i like the first one though but again i hope the 2nd one will be better.

The result is something Final Fantasy fans won't want to miss? The story of this game is garbage. Narrations are bad, voice overs are, as he pointed out, hit and miss. The game should have just sold as a simple fighting game.

I haven't yet played Crisis Core, but alot of the pleasure you get out of that game will depend to how much you've played FF VII. Since you haven't I'd recommend Dissidia. Even though not very detailed, there is some small background text on each character you have in Dissidia, giving more insight to what each character did in their game.

@arcaninebeast You should definatly get Dissidia over Crissis Core (though if your not desperate the second Dissidia game is coming out in a couple of months which is looking 10 times as good as the first one, and the first one was mindblowing so) though both of these games are spin offs and don't have the classic final fantasy feel to them, so maybe look some other ones first (considering Dissidia is loads more fun if you've played the originals)

holy shit!! one game that ign gives a godd review that's not call of duty or halo. it's a miracle. but then.. how can you hate this game? unless you suck at it. i would give this game a 9.5 of 10. the only reason i would dock off a half a point is the lack of playing as the bad guys in story. i know it makes no sense as to why they would want to stop chaos but still. i would love to fuck chaos up as a lvl. 100 sephiroth or ultimecia.

But poor mediocre ones will take intense fights like the one seen in DBZ n make it boring and too simple. This game looks like it has a lot more skill involved that i have seen in any dbz game.
