My curiosity got the best of me and had to understand this verse and it's meaning....here is what I found:

The lyrics for the second verse are more likely to be,

"Through the, the maize and awn"

Awn refers to bristles from grain and maize is another word for corn.

I have the book Justin wrote, Crazy Making, and it says:

"Follow me home

Through the maze and on

I think it basically means:

Follow me back through the confusion, and I will show you where we lost track.
