  • nice sound..how good is the Laney TFX2? I'm planning to get one.

  • cool, just pay a little more attention to the finger vibratos

  • you used a delay ? what a tubezone its a pedal effect metal cor ?

  • that's a lovely looking JS.

  • i have a tube zone myself, i use it to play hi gain metal, but the tone is a bit too loose for my liking. Boosted it with an overdrive pedal in front and it tightens up nicely.

  • How nice sound you plray!!

    I have a question.

Is this Laney TFX2 guitar amplifier has full tube?

I like this sound so much.

  • how i fall in love with the tone...great playing!! im GASing for the TubeZone now..

  • That white JS1000 is one of the most beautiful guitars I have ever seen. Up there with vai's floral jems.

  • Nice guitar and playin! i can't find any of the white JS1000s anymore i searched everywhere

  • you are holding your pick wrong...just to let you know.

  • Thanks man. But then again it's more about comfort, there's no right and wrong. Just go look at how marty friedman holds his pick.

  • lol I am a guitar teacher so yeah I get obsessive about proper technique with my students. Whatever works the best for you. I used to hold it like that too, but yeah it helps your picking speed if you hold it the more common way. Nice playing btw.

  • what is the regular way? im having some trouble with the way i pick; too sharp of an angle coming in so i sharpen my pick basically. i also have trouble with speed and accuracy. this may just be me sucking but anything to do to improe would help me out alot thx.

  • If you hold the pick flatter to the strings and find that it is too uncomfortable to play, you must keep playing that way until it becomes comfortable. Otherwise, you should just keep playing until your own technique develops.

  • k thx

  • Your a bad teacher.

  • Excellent sound

I wonder if the Tube Zone can do Holdsworth, with less gain, more mid vocal and elasticity

  • hey, would be good if you showed the settings you've put on your tube zone. or are there any sites you would recommend for the settings for tube zone?

  • high gain: gain wide open, treble about 1 oclock, mids about 11 o clock, char turned all the way down, tone about 11-12o'clock.

low gain: gain about 10 o'clock, treble about 2 o clock, mids about 12-1 o clock, character turned all the way down, tone about 1 o clock.

    That's what I remember

  • hmm.. damiennn at gmail dot com mind adding me on msn? i need some good input for my tube zone. it sounds like shit for me right now.

  • it'll sound like shit with vol too low. raise the volume and it'll shake your balls. sorry im in NS now, no time to go on msn

  • How about the internal presence knob? For the high gain.

And the amp setting? Is it flat on 12?

  • i love ur guitar, and its tone, is that a joe satriani signature??

  • Yeah, it's a JS1000wh and it's a heck of a guitar!

  • Totally want this overdrive pedal.

That John Petrucci part sounds spot on!!

  • Hey, yeah the tubezone is definitely worth checking out, but personally I think it does high gain better than low gain.

  • Yeah, thats actually a bonus for me, heh.

Are all of those EQ/Tone controls that useful?

Just, I'm wondering on saving up for the Tubezone or saving some money for the blues pro or blues deluxe

  • The 6 knobs (and on internal presence control) are really responsive. However I find myself sticking to only one or two different settings, so it really depends on how much of a tweaker you are!

  • love the andy timmons bit, and i recognize the shirt. the best is yet to be my friend.

  • thanks bro, yes the best is yet to be. haha.

  • niceeeeeeeeeeee.

  • thank you (:
