I have nothing but respect for a guy willing to go out and stand up for his teammates. My comment was in response to Belak being called a guy that could neither fight or play the game. Orr and Belak aren't paid to be superstars. The only reason I mentioned Orr getting knocked out was to show that he is no better or worse at fighting than Wade Belak.

Belak for a 5th rounder... it's not THAT bad considering the depth of the draft this year. And also he becomes UFA this summer plus the panthers probably won't make the playoffs... it's a pretty one-sided deal imo.

Also consider that Chicago gave up Lapointe (also in his last year), a gritty veteran that actually could score a few goals, only to get Ottawa's 6th round pick...

Would love to see Belak sign with the buds again in the summer though... Leafs just ain't the same without Belak.
