Back in junior high my GSA went to a meet-up at a Catholic church of all places with a few other GSA's in the area and there were a maybe a half dozen or so protesters outside (that we ignored). Later on the news they actually talked about the meeting and they interviewed a couple protesters and one of the guy was talking about how we were building ray guns to brainwash and turn people gay.
