i'm sure people had an easier time getting booze back in the day and got drunk a lot more than people do in today's society.. but now they are taking away every piece of fun we have. the world is getting too complicated.
if i had to paid someone to get me drink at 18 i would go back to play school that is just childish being 18 and not be allowed drink...the states need to change the law..in my country your legal at 16
Then stay in your country... I lost my best friend to underage drinking. Just because he didn't have the self control and maturity to know when enough alcohol is enough. Don't get drunk, don't drive either. That, or just wait til you're 21 damn. It's never worth it.
people in this video look to old to be underage to be drinking..underage people are like 12/14 not 16/17 must be different laws in the states...you legal to drink at 16 in my country
you should at least have been drunk a couple of times in your mid-teens so that after you get out of school, you don't go to a night club, get smashed (not even knowing your smashed), offend somebody and get glassed...
or drink too much because you're an inexperienced lightweight, pass out, hit your head on the curb and wake up to find you lost 3 pints of blood and your ass virginity...
Not. I lost my best friend because of teen drinking. His first time. I drank once, just a taste. I didn't take a liking to it.. I honestly don't see the point...
Teen drinking isn't a good thing. Brings about trouble and ruin. I'm 18; a senior. I simply choose to live cleanly. I have no fewer friends than if I would drink, so I'm staying away from that shit for now. I'll drink when I'm older, sure enough bet on that.
I started drinking when i was 15. do you know what happened when i went on to my 20s?.... nothing.. if anything i was more responsible because i got the experience and thrill out of the way at a young age. now its just casual.. these videos are bullshit. and i never did it because it was rebellious either. it was just fun for fucks sakes. i mean, i guess you do gotta keep in mind that it is not good for you. but that doesnt mean you have to stop all together. god damn.
In Denmark you have to be 16 to be alcohol. I started when I was 14. I love being drunk, though I always end up making out with people I shouldn't even near, I laugh about everything, kiss and hug people I don't know and have fun. Until I suddenly begin feeling ill and puke. I guess that's my limit. Well, sometimes I drink a little more after barfing, but still.. I come home with bruises but I ain't dead yet.
The key word is moderation. It's really naive to think your kids are never going to drink before they reach 21. As long as someone doesn't go overboard it won't be a problem. Most people drink before they turn 21 and most of them turn out perfectly fine. We just hear about the ones that get screwed up because of it and then think that any amount of drinking will cause someone to be like that. Encouraging moderation is a better route in my opinion.
WTF.... These kids are fkin 17 so why shouldnt they drink all this media is totaly over the top.. how the hell does alcohol ruin your life when you get drunk at partys sometimes?!?!?! wheres the big difference between 18 and 21. I started drinkin when i was 15 and i get good grades and it definitely did not ruine my life
When I was a teenager I took pride in flaunting this ridiculous and outdated American law, knowing full well that just about everywhere else in the world the drinking age was 18. The fact remains that 85% of 18-21 year olds in the US *drink.* That means that we have criminalized a whole section of the population that can otherwise vote, buy a gun & serve in the military - all for the horrid, abominable, unspeakable crime of.... having a beer.
The fact remains that the current drinking age *doesn't* keep that from happening, no more than the Prohibition stopped or even reduced drunkenness, domestic abuse or anything else attributed to "demon rum." Once again, 85% of 18-21 year olds flaunt the current drinking age law. I'm all for education on the dangers of drunk driving, but it's naive to think that people don't drink just because there's a law on the books that prohibits it.
you are an idiot. so you think that nobody obeys this law ever and it has no effect on the drinking rate for teens and therefore it should be abolished. that makes a hell of alot of sense. maybe you should think about what you are saying. hardly anybody obeys the speed limit either, and lots of deaths occur because of that. should we abolish speed limits?
Unable to have an adult discussion, you resort to name-calling. How very grown up of you! We're talking about an American adult population aged 18-21 that can otherwise get married, own a gun, have an abortion, adopt children (or have one's own), vote, be given a gun and told to die for one's country and DRINK JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD - except for the country they happen to be citizens of - all because of a lobbying group called MADD. Care to tell me what doesn't make sense here?
Drinking is only bad if you make it bad, it was never meant to be drank in large portions. I drink vodka sometimes with approval, and I'm perfect.

You need to start smoking weed instead of drinking alcohol. Keeps your mind more clear, doesn't destroy your body and is a great way to relax.

Most teenagers do not drink alcohol. SURe, you have many GUYS at school who lie about getting drunk, but those guys are idiots.
And alcohol can be BAD at any age, as long as it's irresponsible.
If you ask me, more people are turning to pot.
