Wow a video actually supporting a police i hate people who have these ACAB videos etc cause what they dont realise is without the police the country would be overun with people killing each other and it would be a living hell.
Special thanks to the Notts Police Officer who killed his dogs in his vehicle, twat, what ever happened to him? but, thank you to the 99% of officers who are all of what you say in this video and more, just make sure you root out the bad ones because they do so much damage.
they are the reason we can walk the streets at night, wat they do takes courage and resilience, they deal with some of the most gruesome crimes yet work through it and still show up the next day to do it all again
these people are standing up to the knife weilding, drug taking scum who give britain a bad name.
police are loving people with families to look after just like the rest of us.
bravo to all the police. bravo. i can honestlly say i couldnt go through some of the things you people do.
What can I say but thankyou Raven......it is so nice just to be appreciated once in a while.....i am no hero but our job is tough really tough sometimes and under all that clobber we carry round day in day out we are human too and we feel pain and grief too. great vid/ suprising to see notts cops carrying out a armed stop in a busy city centre with shoppers-must have needed it- much respect. fellow officer
and watch someone mouth off and commit an offence under the public order act ?? doesn't tell you that afterwards he got his arse dragged back to the barracks by the MP for being such a prick
The thing I hate is when people complain about the police and what they do, and then claim that life would be so much better if they just all went away.....
I would rather take abuse from an entire country, than to fail my duty for the greater good.
An absolutely fantastic tribute my friend. Another great piece of support to the brave officers in our Thin Blue Line.
I aim to join the Police to serve the country but also my community. I aim to be the best I can, to do the best I can. There will always be people who call us 'pigs' but to that I will just carry on because I would still do everything I could to help them no matter what they said to me. There are police who dont do the right thing and yes they should be criticized but the rest do their job properly and for that they deserve everyones respect.

The police get grief for what? For stopping the bad people doing what they please? For simply stopping to search them for 2 minutes?
I think some people's attitudes toward the police are disgusting, yet the people who hate them still watch good videos like this and leave hate comments. Notice that?
Like the comments below, they'll be the fine ones to say "Help! Call the Police" when a knife's to their throat..
It's not just the public either. The media is also CONSTANTLY attacking the police. Everyday I see an article in the papers attacking the police.
Do you EVER see the media praise the police? even when they save a life, or find a lost/kidnapped child, you very rarely if ever see anyone praising the police.
It's a fucking disgrace to be honest. Our frontline officers have to deal with so much and they get so little in return, infact they are treated like shit.
what can i say??? THANK YOU SO MUCH. JUST FOR BEING THERE. whoever it is, whoever thay are, in times of trouble, we all say "CALL THE POLICE". true respect...
If your emotions affect your ability to do the job then the job is NOT one you are suited for. Kids in schools are taught that the police officer is within the group "people who help us"..
Police officers SHOULD have the personal integrity to ensure that those unsuited to the job are ejected.
Moreover that those police officers who break the law are brought to justice by their peers.
My partner is a police officer. Not only is he a remarkable human being, but he is incredibly giving, kind, strong, sensitive, sweet and loving. He always finds the time to help me and give me whatever it is I need. He has the courage to see the things I couldn't handle, to go where I feel I couldn't go, and to resolve situations out of kindness and empathy before resorting to an arrest. He is one of the most amazing people I have ever met and I feel honored to know and love him. X - For Phill
I agree this is a powerful video and also yes these videos should be shown to kids in schools maybe they might come to there senses and grow up not as a hateful person to the police.
Im currently Studying Pre-Uniformed services and im a Voluntary Police Cadet for Merseyside Police, im hoping to join in 2 years and do my 2 year probationary then Go into Co19.
no mate officers are not routinely armed, we do however have armed response teams similar to your Swat teams etc ... British policing does not require the use of firearms on a routine basis like it does in the US
The British Police are regarded Worldwide as the most professional and respected of all police forces anywhere. They are the model upon which other countries try to exel to. Respect and pride to you guys.
This is a great video and makes me proud to be a police officer...we get so much bad press that it is good for people to see what we actually have to go through. thanks x
im studying public services at college when i leave i want to join up with the police force i just hope i can get in its been my dream for a long time now
i'll be joining regs soon, just have to learn to drive as bedfordshire police you need a full driving licence. the police do a job that most people woundn't and people always want to discredit them what ever they do. i have been in at least 5 police incidents at work (dam shoplifters) and they have done a great job in catching and getting them sent down. i just love the police and can't wait to join
im studying public services in college im doing my 1st diploma i want to stay on and do my national then i want to join up i really hope i get in if i do im gonna be a pc for 2-3 years then see if i can get into the dog section
I agree. Doing a job like that brings meaning to your life - gives you a purpose. Touching the lives of others is a privilege that is unique to the police, doctors, firemen, etc.
I WILL BE BLUNT!!! I USED TO FUCKING HATE THE POLICE !! BUT OVER THE YEARS AND AS YOU GET OLDER YOU REALISE HOW MUCH YOU, I, WE NEED THEM AND HOW MUCH OF A GREAT JOB THEY DO FOR SHIT PAY (Mr Brown) SINCE BECOMING A DOORMAN YOU SEE EVEN FAR BETTER SIDE OF THE POLICE,I HAVE TAUGHT MY 2 YOUNG GIRLS TO RESPECT THE POLICE BECAUSE LETS FACE IT WHEN YR IN A SPOT OF BOTHER OR BEING BEATING INFACT ANYTIME ,WHO THE 1st PEOPLE YOU PHONE ? YIP THE POLICE (Respect)
thx and your video's should bring a lump to the throat of all, It is only a pitty that these videos could not be played in schools to show the children and youth of today no matter what they here or told,This is true evidence of the UK and world bobby what most of us dont see, the grief of the widow, the child, the parent, the colleague,RESPECT TO ALL
Hey what a great video you should make more on what they do!
Im from the manchester area and my local police station is greater manchester police does anyone know what the armed police unit for the detachment is called? i know co19 is from london...
Thanks if you could tell me, and once again great video

Watching a video like this makes me proud of my job. To those one here who slate us police, I just hope you don't need us one day to save your life!!!
very true, glad someone understands and respects the police, i admit we (police as a whole) proberly dont always do everything to the best, but who can?
i haven't been on here for over a year but it brings a tear to my eye that people are still having a go via comments seriously guys GET A LIFE the police do a grand job
No one is perfect and therefore no institution is perfect, but I think that the police deserve our respect and gratitude for the thankless job that they do. Everyday is an adventure into the unknown, and I think it is admirable that these men and women are willing to risk life and limb for the good of the public. Raven371, I really enjoyed your video. Keep up the good work!
I hope none of widows/widowers or children read some of the comments on here. It would be nice to know that their love ones did not give their life for ingrates.
Some people dont realise what the Police really do, they seem to think they just go out arresting people for the way they look, but its soo not true, no day they could end up saving YOUR life, then you would regret every bad thing you said or done to them.
They Do More than you think!
I would love to be a Police Constable when I get older, a dream come true =]
Police do nothing, i was battered in may 2007 they said they would search the CCTV for evidence they said the was no evidence AKA they couldnt be arsed cheaking CCTV footage i was getting battered and i saw fucking CCTV cameras i might not be incredibly injured outside but i have been changed inside
they will have checked the cctv and even if they did and it showed someone on camera... someone has to be able to identify the offenders the police cant work miracles mate...if they said there was no evidence there is no evidence regardless of you seeing camera's it doesnt mean they captured your incident,i was bottled breaking up a pub fight off duty...they had cctv but it was shite...thus no one locked up...dont think yourself to hard done by mate
Great video. The police haters are just inferior people who could never handle the discipline of training, are not brave enough to do half the tasks involved, lack the social skills to do the job and could not carry themselves in a dignified manner....and for those who bang on about brutality etc, try going to Brazil and teling a cop to 'fuck off'.
Brilliant video, I have shown this to my colleagues and all think it is fantastic. As for the negative comments by some of the ignorant people out there, I have seen so many of these opinionated people run straight to the police when it suits them. God save the queen
Brilliant. I'm proud to be a Police Cadet and I hope to join the Police. People just assume that the Police are bad, but they're not. Thank you for this.
A beautiful tribute, actually brought a tear to my eye. I think the police do an incredible job and I thank each one of them for putting themselves at risk everyday for the safety of the public.
Fantastic video. It is a hard job and one that I will hopefully continue to do for many years to come. I find the choice of music powerful as well. Good choice. But, one question. What is the name of the song?
When you hear the labored squealing of those wheezing Scottish sack horns, it makes you think, "Nothing became him in his life like the leaving of it."
raven good video mate the the job we do is a hard one. ppl just don't know. im saw all the officers in derbyshire constabulary agree with me. keep posting videos to shaw the retards what we do.
lurcherdog is spot on about the police in this country. given 2 much power like the shit politicians. us people have had enuff! its only a matter of time b4 we fight back. the police are a complete waste of space. some immigrant kid punched my elderly mum in the face for no reason. when i got cops involved & i described the immigrant as 'scum' the cop tried insinuating that i was racist! police did FUCK ALL about my mum!
i fucking hate the cops! fucking waste of taxpayers money!
you don't need anything in the way of formal qualifications so no GCSE's or A levels are required you do however have to be able to do maths and English and other 'in house' tests and assessments to meet he grade (nothing for you to worry about) its like any job i wont glorify it, it has its ups and downs but I've never looked back and enjoy it ... don't let people put you off and never back down if its something you want ..
Wow a video actually supporting a police i hate people who have these ACAB videos etc cause what they dont realise is without the police the country would be overun with people killing each other and it would be a living hell.

It's a fucking disgrace to be honest. Our frontline officers have to deal with so much and they get so little in return, infact they are treated like shit.
They get my full respect.

what can i say??? THANK YOU SO MUCH. JUST FOR BEING THERE. whoever it is, whoever thay are, in times of trouble, we all say "CALL THE POLICE". true respect...
scotiedogosw 3 years ago
The police are there to
1. protect the public
2. enforce and uphold the law
If your emotions affect your ability to do the job then the job is NOT one you are suited for. Kids in schools are taught that the police officer is within the group "people who help us"..
Police officers SHOULD have the personal integrity to ensure that those unsuited to the job are ejected.
Moreover that those police officers who break the law are brought to justice by their peers.

this is something i love seeing, someone paying tribute to the police and all they do for us.
people who slag the police off and bad mouth them just don't realize what they do for all of us.
people will call the police scum, but its a different story when they have been beaten or robbed or their family has.
without them we'd be a lawless country overrun by scum
bravo mate great video, its nice to finally see people who respect their commitment and dedication to keep us safe
bravo.

Great video.! Shows what the men and women of the uk do to keep people safe, Everyday we (the police) face danager every seeond.
People hate the police, But who do people call when they have be smashed with a bottle. or kicked around outside the pub on a friday night.
When people crash there car's. When someone is killed. Its the police that deal with it, Inform people and find out who done it.
It IS a great job!

nysp2007 3 years ago
no mate officers are not routinely armed, we do however have armed response teams similar to your Swat teams etc ... British policing does not require the use of firearms on a routine basis like it does in the US

Or perhaps ignore the problem and hope it goes away?

No one is perfect and therefore no institution is perfect, but I think that the police deserve our respect and gratitude for the thankless job that they do. Everyday is an adventure into the unknown, and I think it is admirable that these men and women are willing to risk life and limb for the good of the public. Raven371, I really enjoyed your video. Keep up the good work!

Police do nothing, i was battered in may 2007 they said they would search the CCTV for evidence they said the was no evidence AKA they couldnt be arsed cheaking CCTV footage i was getting battered and i saw fucking CCTV cameras i might not be incredibly injured outside but i have been changed inside
dagodfarsha 3 years ago
they will have checked the cctv and even if they did and it showed someone on camera... someone has to be able to identify the offenders the police cant work miracles mate...if they said there was no evidence there is no evidence regardless of you seeing camera's it doesnt mean they captured your incident,i was bottled breaking up a pub fight off duty...they had cctv but it was shite...thus no one locked up...dont think yourself to hard done by mate
Raven371 3 years ago
Great video. The police haters are just inferior people who could never handle the discipline of training, are not brave enough to do half the tasks involved, lack the social skills to do the job and could not carry themselves in a dignified manner....and for those who bang on about brutality etc, try going to Brazil and teling a cop to 'fuck off'.
thedefender2 3 years ago 5
that is rubbish my friend, you should read 1984. it is not the officers that are the problem, just what they are told to do.

lurcherdog is spot on about the police in this country. given 2 much power like the shit politicians. us people have had enuff! its only a matter of time b4 we fight back. the police are a complete waste of space. some immigrant kid punched my elderly mum in the face for no reason. when i got cops involved & i described the immigrant as 'scum' the cop tried insinuating that i was racist! police did FUCK ALL about my mum!
i fucking hate the cops! fucking waste of taxpayers money!

you don't need anything in the way of formal qualifications so no GCSE's or A levels are required you do however have to be able to do maths and English and other 'in house' tests and assessments to meet he grade (nothing for you to worry about) its like any job i wont glorify it, it has its ups and downs but I've never looked back and enjoy it ... don't let people put you off and never back down if its something you want ..
