Why are the laws of Islam on trial, Shariah Law is for governing Muslims and if its so wrong how come no one has cared all these centuries about those whom have fallen under its laws for hundreds of years. Ignorance is removed by knowledge not hearsay, if people did research they would have less hate filled criticisms based on idle gossip not fact. The reality is most people do not follow the laws of any of the Prophets of God of any religion, yet only one is on trial, SMH so sad!

@SLAM234 America is not Islamic state therefore its part of the state however in Islamic countries Muslims are required to follow Shariah Law(Laws of God). Islam is not a Sunday thingy, its a complete way of life. We don't invest our time worrying about how you feel about us or calling you names. Allah guides whom he wills to Islam and none can misguide them and those he misguides none can guide them..People fear only what they don't understand. If you want the truth, search it on your own.

@SLAM234 Islamophobia was an issue way before radical Muslim culture. Many prominent Muslims speak out against the extremism, but that goes uncovered by the media. The media sensationalize jihadists. A Swedish reporter came to my mosque last month during the wake of the Egyptian protests & he only stayed 5 minutes into the sermon and left because the Imam was speaking about fairness & justice in Islam. Just like you, only responding to my 1 line on Islamophobia.

@SLAM234 One other thing, Muslims have contributed a lot to secular society, especially in the field of science. It was Muslims who brought Europe out of the Dark Ages into the light of the Renaissance. They even revived the knowledge the Europeans neglected during that time. Even freedom of religion was protected under Muslim Law. But those Muslims were different than the corrupted hearts we have today. But the Islamophobes with Political Power aint helping either

@SLAM234 It's not Islam that's the problem, it's the Muslims and everyone else who don't understand "religion". For Muslims who have gone astray, their faith and understanding not in accordance with the Shariah. Instead their understanding of the religion is in accordance to their self motives and desires. Laws can't correct man, Secular or "Religious". I that gets drunk in a bar and then gets behind the steering wheel of his car doesn't believe secular law either.
