He punched Y in the face and followed up with a hard punch in the spinal cord and then followed up again with a hard punch under y's right jaw. Getting hit in the spinal cord is dangerous, why do you think most fights forbid hits in the back. The guy was down because of the hit in the back and the punch under the jaw was icing on the cake.
