as a tory i agree that the environment matters to every voter... as a prime minister I would slash immigration levels to help slash development and create more greenbelts in the rural areas in southern ontario... newcomers tend to all move to toronto or vancouver areas which causes urban sprawl eating away farmland... if they would all move spread out it wouldnt be an issue since we're a large country... brampton is one victim of urban sprawl which had the best farmland in ontario, also vaughan

as a harper supporter i have to agree that the environment matters to every voter whether you vote tory, liberal or ndp.. dont forget our immigration levels are too high to stabilize our future and development is happening too quickly, the biggest problem is that newcommers are overcrowding southern ontario and vancouver areas eating out farmland.. i believe that slashing immigration levels will help against more housing demand and more greenbelts in southern ontario to protect the rural areas

yes, i agree! we need to give the power to tax to our cities! see, constitutionally, the cities are delegated to the provinces under parts 8 and 9 of Section 92 of the Constitution Act of 1867. If we constitutionally mandated that our cities could raise revenue through taxation, then we would solve the major funding issue municipalities across Canada face!

This actually sounds a lot like Jack Layton's older stuff... back when he cared more about doing good for his people than getting his party elected... It is a great plan, and like great NDP plans will be very effective on the provincial level. You sir should consider being Ontario's next great Premier and leave federal politics to someone who understands the position. When you try out for the Provincials I'll support you then.

Chris, your deliver a very interesting video and some in-depth policies, but fail to mention some key points. There is no mention of a policy that concerns Global Warming or the Kyoto Protocol and no mention of our troops in Afghanistan. There is also only an extremely brief mention about Canada's health care. While your solution to urban sprawl is detailed and could possibly solve the problem, you needs to develop and explain your policies for these three key issues.

well...legalize medicinal marijuana, decriminalize amounts of recreational marijuana, put money towards discovering an effective way to test for high drivers and create laws restricting the use in public because, lets face it, second hand smoke is second hand smoke...but yea, i would be very liberal on weed...because, like, thats just the way you gotta be man...(stares off into space)
