@myfuzzlemuzzle I'm in Ca and my husband is a Sgt is a prison with the worst of the worst, women. Due to politics and the economy a lot are talking about privatizing prisons here and it all goes back to the plain and simple saying, you get what you pay for. These prisons in Ca are ran like country clubs and inmates have way more rights than their victims. On average, I think most inmates are scum that deserve to die but I don't think that privatizing prisons helps anyone on either side at all.
@domesticpuke What disturbs me is the HUGE amount of petty offenders in prison..most of who are in there for non violent non serious crimes..usually drug offenses or other victimless crimes that have no business carrying a jail sentence. The issues I am seeing here is that our own government has a history of committing crimes it itself goes unpunished for such as drug smuggling. Research how a CIA plane carrying cocaine crashed in mexico and was discovered by the army there.

I have been working corrections for 10 years.Most inmates can not even spell respect.But go crying to the warden or momma when they fuck up and want to blame it on somebody else.This young culture is upside down.They want everything handed to them.I say to them get a job and pay taxes like the rest of us.

How many times did you see an inmate straight up fight someone compared to how many times you see an inmate jump on someone with 3 or 4 of his buddies and/or a weapon? But you know what, those inmates throwing shit and everything at officers deserved every ass whoopin' they got. I work for DOC now (3 years), and it ain't nothing like it was back then. What the hell are you guys talking about? Prisons are all for making it easier and safer for the inmate. The only thing that makes it harder is other inmates. @myfuzzlemuzzle I'm in Ca and my husband is a Sgt is a prison with the worst of the worst, women. Due to politics and the economy a lot are talking about privatizing prisons here and it all goes back to the plain and simple saying, you get what you pay for. These prisons in Ca are ran like country clubs and inmates have way more rights than their victims. On average, I think most inmates are scum that deserve to die but I don't think that privatizing prisons helps anyone on either side at all.

@domesticpuke What disturbs me is the HUGE amount of petty offenders in prison..most of who are in there for non violent non serious crimes..usually drug offenses or other victimless crimes that have no business carrying a jail sentence. The issues I am seeing here is that our own government has a history of committing crimes it itself goes unpunished for such as drug smuggling. Research how a CIA plane carrying cocaine crashed in mexico and was discovered by the army there.

Hmm, maybe you should really look at the numbers and read a few case files to get a better sense of what the prison population is really like. Petty criminals don’t go to prison anyway. They go to county jails. The government didn’t make them commit their crimes and as a society, we keep footing the bill for them to get out and do it again.

@jester9 My cousin was a LT. about 10 years or so ago. He's told me alot of the things they did. But you know what, those inmates throwing shit and everything at officers deserved every ass whoopin' they got. I work for DOC now (3 years), and it ain't nothing like it was back then. Things were right then. The inmates didn't give HALF of the problems that they do now because they knew what would happen. Be safe at work and you've got my respect!

INMATES, CROOKS AND CONS, OH MY!!!! Underrated, underpaid, and overlooked. The Correctional Officers of the United States keep it real every day. We go in with little more than pepper spray and a prayer. It makes you wonder when State Troopers refuse to disarm for a tour. We do it EVERY DAY!! The song hit the nail on the head, they reaaly do sound like that!! HEY, CO!!!
