If you want to fix the lag, try using the emulator VBA-M, its a modded version of the emulator VBA. If you can't use it then try messing with your current emulators frame rate.

@origialtych There are several patches and gameshark/game genie/action replay codes that you can either apply to a rom in the case of a patch, and either a cart or a rom in the case a code.
