For a long time, I didn't even recognize that he had sampled Stepping Out. I just thought it was a sick ass beat. When it finally dawned on me, it made it that much more amazing to me. Sure, it's just a loop, but it's the way he looped it and put his spin on it, as well as many other beats he made over the years, that made him one of a kind! The same "not recognizing the sample right away" eureka moment happened to me as well on SV's "Go Ladies". It took me years to catch what that sample was!
