Hi compare it with icoo d70w, which one would you recommend, in terms of graphics and processor capabilities, which one has faster and smoother use experience?
I'm about to get honest with you about this NOVO 7 AURORA SITUATION! I ordered my device on January 19th. The site said nothing about a shortage. The only thing that was mentioned was a delay in shipping due to the Chinese New Year and I was on with that. Tomorrow will be the first day of March and I haven't even receive a shipping confirmation, much less a tablet. I am not happy with this at all. I, Android7k have a YouTube video that describes this pandawill nightmare.

@yazeedbegunah Do you mean that you can use the phone functions including GPRS network on the tab by connecting to your cell phone via USB? My answer is NO, sorry. But you can connect your cell phone to the tab like a PC.

I have this, it's okay but is made quite cheaply. This device is slow and laggy and doesn't run 3D games with a resistant touch screen but ice cream sandwich is okay I guess. I would recommend this to business users but if you actually want to have fun not just will a tacky price of junk don't get this crap.
Guys this is out of stock with Pandawill as on date. but they take orders. check with the customer support whether it is in stock or when they will restock again. i ordered on 3rd feb and till this second no update from Pandawill. their customer support is a big joke....

@TheGonzalezvalle Hello. The firmware both on Aurora and Elf is ICS 4.0.1, which doesn't include the android market app on it but can access the Android Market via web directly. How is the battery life? Most android phone batteries I hope this tablet is good. Also the back is white and it has a kickstand right? How many megapixels is the camera?
@Blueflagproductions Aurora's battery is 3700MAh, while according to Ainol's file, its play time lasts 5-6 hrs for video, 12-15 hrs for audio, around 6 hrs for 3D game, and around 7 hrs for web.
Aurora has both black and white color, but no kickstand.

Same situation as Android7k counts for me, ordered at 17/01 and still waiting for shipping confirmation. But... I knew up front that it would take some extra time because of the Chinese New Year and folluw the messages on the forums and over here. I'll report my findings as well when my item is shipped, still looking forward to it!

I really want to pick up this tablet as my previous one is outdated but I have a couple questions and was hoping you can answer them.

3. Finally, would an external keyboard work on both Aurora and Elf?

While ICS 4.0.3 has been release on our forum, but we haven't tested it if the market works. If interested check our forum pls. 2. The view angels will be different and the IPS makes our eyes much confortable as well. You can also search IPS on web. 3.Aurora and Elf are with the same ourport, so an external keyboard should fit both too. Thanks for your question. :))
I just ordered the Novo 7 Aurora from Pandawill, I know it won't be in for a few weeks due to the Chinese New Year celebration, but I will be doing an honest, independent review of the tablet and of my experience with Pandawill, much like my review of the Novo 7 Basic and the Brilliantstore. I am excited about the tablet. I hope I'm not disappointed by the tablet. Mainly, I hope I am not disappointed by Pandawill.
@TheGonzalezvalle I ordered from them a week before the chinese new year (the day the aurora was released) and they didn't ship it. When I emailed them a day before the new year, they said it won't ship for another month because they'll have a back log after the holidays. Really pissed me off.

Why is everyone who reviews this tablet, having issues with screen response and lag? It's evident here again. Also when pressed the browser button to open web browser, it took 3 attempts to open it.
I am really interested in this tablet, but all of the reviews I have seen show there is a problem with screen response and lag.
@t1000v20 Hmm, the screen is a litttle bit lag indeed but it won't affect the smooth touch. To be frank, our reviewer hasn't to be used to the ICS, and that's why you felt a little lag and slow on the video :P If you are not so keen on the IPS, Elf can be a good choice too. :))
@Pandawill2010 hi yes i have seen the elf, it does look good and smooth. But I heard you cant get the official Android market. Is this true? I thought Ainol tablets were google certified? we really need market there i think.
@t1000v20 its true, BUT there is an alternative app store on preinstalled on it, some chinese app store and all the app are free and in english after you install them.
still its kind of a shame that it does not come with android market, it really doesn't matter lol
@t1000v20 You can access the Android Market via the web searching directly. 4.0.1 doesn't support the android market app currently, that's shame. But, ICS 4.0.3 for a10 has been released, you can check it our on our forum. We haven't tested the firmware on the Aurora or the Elf, but we'll do that after 30th. :)
@t1000v20 Totally agree with that. Aurora is supposed to pack a powerhouse punch in processing power, and yet it lags in simple browsing. Really makes you wary of this new tablet.
@Astral100 Apparently the lagging is due to a software issue. There is supposed to be a fix for it. I think the best thing to do is wait a little while. Don't just go ahead and buy this product. First see if the bugs can be worked out and it's running stable.

Ainol seriously needs to out a TABLET with GPS & 3G on an IPS Screen.

Anyways, if i recall correctly, the main (if not only) difference is that the screen of the aurora is an IPS panel while the elf uses TN (I think).
