  • sweeet playing man!! what type of mic are you useing?? it sounds great!

  • @cbertram11 Thanks mate, It's a Shure PG57, a cheaper version of an SM57 :)

  • Beautifull wood grain with type of wood is it.

  • @SavageDutchman It's called Wenge, pronounced "Wen-gae".. or something similar to that :)

  • @voodooriders It is really a beautifull looking guitar

  • :)

  • Sweet man, HNCD! Incoming PM (on MLF).

  • are you using any mic with the cammera

  • @intenseguitarman23 Yes mate i'm using a Shure PG 57 into a Focusrite SAffire PRO 24 interface, and recorded using Reaper! So the video and audio are recorded at the same time by 2 different methods! The built in mic doesn't sound very good, if you wanted to record sound properly i'd consider investing in a seperate recording device :)

  • Loving the Gilbert! Major fan here

  • @MrRalphonzo If only i could play it with 10% of the accuracy PG himself does! The guy is immense isn't he :D

  • I need to get me one of those bad boys!

  • @coulsonsam87 I think they're considerably cheaper than here, on your side of the pond too dude! :)

  • Bloody hell that looks incredible!!

  • 'Shade' by Silverchair! Love you Gazza XD

  • @CharvelDude94 haha love you too dude! :D

  • Garry's groin in glorious HD! Looks good mate (the vid not the groin). Sounded pretty good too for someone who said the playing is poor!

  • @RichMJ79 You're biased because of the groin thing! It's like audio abuse stockholm syndrome!

  • You'll want to drop the exposure a bit to preserve the detail of the shot - it'll compensate for your sitting near a window. As for the ghosting, shoot in 60fps if possible - it'll render any motion much smoother. Then while editing, you can always use software to render it back to 24fps to smooth the motion and make it look more film like.

It's a hell of a learning curve with DSLRs and editing!

  • @demonix888 Fookin hell monty 60FPS? XD the latest DSLRs on the consumer market are only doing 30fps HD XD Blu-ray is 24fps anyway? Digitalscream reckons it could be due to using a pc monitor, Which is a very good point! unless you're using a better monitor and still showing some motion blur?

Exposure was already noted though \m/

  • @demonix888 I tell a lie! The Canon 7D does, that is a further £190 odd quid on top of the D7000.. without a lens though XD

  • @voodooriders Aye, the 7D is fucking expensive. The other thing could have been that the render settings were off, as you said - just make sure that the project is setup for the kind of video the camera shoots, and that should solve things. When you render it, you can pretty much choose the framerate, but it's just making sure that it's all kosher to begin with. Also, it's not motion blur, it's ghosting - there's a difference; mostly in that motion blur looks quite good :P

  • @demonix888 One thing i didn't get is that when setting the video at the start i could choose 25fps at 720p, but not 24fps.. BUT at the end when rendering there were several 720p 24fps options! I need to look into it more when i'm not stuffy and easily annoyed by stupid computers XD

  • @demonix888 Ahhhh ha!! i just realized, you meant 60fps as in the shutter speed at 1/60!! I thought you meant 60fps as in, 24fps, 30 fps etc.... you did mean it like the shutter speed didn't you?? XD

  • this guy pisses on those shredders am i the only 1 who knows this guy has serious tone and feel!

  • that guitar looks and sounds awesome!

I wish I can afford one

  • Iz good camera. You just need proper lighting and to mail that guitar to me and it'll be perfect.

  • @TenhoMeideia Well godamn, i just went and bought some wrapping paper, bubble wrap, fragile stickers and a bottle of aftershave as a nice little extra for you, and it doesn't fit in the box i bought! Oh well :p

  • @voodooriders Gimme your adress, i'll provide the box, but only because you're my bud ;-)

  • Great camera, catches the vibration of the strings lol, noticed the power of love being played there lol

  • @rodletodge Cheer dude! Gotta love some Back To The Future! :D

  • Looks really, really good Voodoo! Also that guitar is soooo niiceeee!

  • @MyxHarnett Cheers Myx! :) \m/

  • @voodooriders Also man you gonna be at MF 2012? If so I'll have to jam with you some \m/

  • @MyxHarnett I'd be really surprised if i'm not! So i have no doubt i'll see you for a jam! :D

  • @flem187 Well i'm sure you'd really like the Rockerverb in that case :)

  • @flem187 No worries man, it's a Rockerverb 50 Mk 1, really nice amp! One of the most saturated amps i know of! The clean is very buttery, but it won't do that glassy, shimmery clean! The crunch and lead tones though, are in a league of their own! And nothing sounds quite like Orange :)

  • when i visit hell.....i would love to wear that horns

  • congratulations, didn't see any ghost, but after all I am not the ghostwhisperer! :)))

  • excellent vid, dude

  • @dwg316 Thanks man :)

  • Cool vid, nice review mate! Love Jaden Guitars!

  • @mixolidianrules Thanks dude! Jadens guitars are badass :D

  • nice horns

  • @diceMEass \m/

  • Never mind the video quality and the sweeeet guitar - kudos on owning my favourite T-shirt of all time!!

  • @guitargulliver Haha that's one i don't wear to pick my kid up from school XD

  • Looks great - didn't notice any ghosting either :)

  • @digiscream Cheers mate! I don't know if ghosting is the right word, it's like, as my right hand flicks it makes a shadown, like the video isn't quite keeping up with the movement fast enough, maybe it's just me being ultra picky!

  • @voodooriders You sure it's not just your screen not keeping up? That's the usual culprit for ghosting (you've described it right).

  • @digiscream That's a good point ya know! I'll try running the vid through the TV later! It's a Dell 22" and 4 years old now, so it's quite likey!

  • Huey Lewis !

makes the wenge look great !

  • @JadenRoseGuitars Together we shall promote Wenge as an incredibly attractive wood! :)

  • What was that first song??? I recognise it, is it Hawkwind or UFo or something like that? and FUCK that's nice quality!!!!! Did'nt know you smoked mate!

  • @ravenshield56 It's Whole Lotta Love by Led Zep dude :)

Yup i've smoked for about 16 years now! :o

  • @voodooriders Oh shit yeah! *slaps face* and ohhh right nice man :)

  • @voodooriders OH NO it`s not... That`s Communication Breakdown!!

  • @ragegap ARGH! Sorry it is XD dunno why i had whole lotta love in my head!

  • @voodooriders Whole lotta love is one of those tunes that will do that to you, bit like Who knows by Hendrix. :)

  • @ravenshield56 Haha ignore me dude i wasn't thinking, it's communication breakdown as ragegap has pointed out! :)

  • @voodooriders Aghh!! hahaah ok man thanks xD i recognise it, and I was searching youtube like ".... uhhh" hah

  • Looks good. Gonna have to go and search Nikon D7000... back in a bit

  • Gonna have to try 24fps on mine, looks different but interesting......

  • @DrKarnivore Well Blu-Ray runs 24fps! the 30fps is a little over rated i think, but if it's recorded in a HD format it really does seem to make a massive difference when you select it! I'll try 1080p and see how that looks, i think that's more significant than the fps as it's where the detail changes! Should be good once i hone in my videography n00bishness a bit XD

  • F**k me thats some impressive video......the bits of fag ash when you had a drag......wow

  • @DrKarnivore Haha yeah that's why i left them in :) It's still not as sharp as i'd like, i'm sure that's just because it's over exposed though! So i'll try again later maybe! I need a cameraman.
