the only way that this is like minecraft is that you mine for fucking ore but terraria has bosses,a wide variety or monsters and a few rare spawns, many nurtinure items, potions,flowers,seeds and plants water walking potions gravity potions etc.

The slime concept of where they got the money does actually work. There is a slime known as the king slime. Inside the king slime at the very middle is a ninja who got stuck in the slime.

at night these things called falling stars come down fr5om the sky, and if you collect 10 of them you can make a mana crystal to gain mana. You can't use the mana until you have a spell, so go exploring underground.

you can put money in chests, not just piggy banks.
