i have a tip for using these plastics that most people dont know, put a dab of superglue on so it stops sliding

just like berkley gulp only 2 or 3 on the pack swim well. A lot of the time you'd find some of the tails in the pack to be twisted or have bent tails and if you have the packs for a while they start to dry out. Squidgies are the best plastics I've ever used and for my hard bodies I use devil fish vibes. I have caught pretty much every estuary species on the those lures I use.

Bright pink is by far the best colour for flathead, whether it be hard body or soft body. soft plastic etc.

All you have too do is follow any creek, estarie, etc and look for the signs of flatheads.

All they do is wait for bait fish on the out going tide and you will catch them

i have to admit those people r tools BUT i am catching alot of fish on slam baits BUT i like sqidgies the most and berkly gulp BUT the gladiator smash baits in the 7cm size in the lime green matched up with a tt 1\8 jig head or a squidgies resin head will catch u fish.... i was fishing the racks a week ago and i wasn't getting anything and my mum was saying when r ya catching a fish (cause she hates lures) so when she lopoked away i cut the smash baits in half and casted and BAM a nice flattie

slams are pritty shitty. i think they kneed to put a bit more time and effort into designing a better looking lure with a better action. Ive found that theyre a bit too tense and dont give off a very loose, natural looking action.

your right this guy is a flog, the area they are fishing is a well known spot in the Gold Coast Broadwater and its recognised as a large flathead area. You do not have to be any sort of expert to catch them here and they will take anything.......so much for his slam baits

was that the jerk shad you were using? i am having problems with mine, they keep spinning in the water. i put them on the same jighead style in this video. i've even put a swivel in front on the jighead as a test and still spins.

Gulp Jerkshads don't spin in the water no matter how bad i rig it, these do. I've done everything to stop it but its the lure profile that wants to spin in the first place
