you people are fucking retarded im not suprised disease is rife "if you have a scar it can get in" ARE YOU FIVE? look, ebola, like allll viruses, has the potential to become an aerosol... that means... spit.. cough up, blood phlemg, fluids, can be made into droplet form via sneezing or coughing.... being around an infected person is much more risky than in a lab... people help spread, infact, most level 4 labs are secure enough to work within, without the suit, due to air filters etc.

It looks like the guy's smiling at 3:22. Also, why is this video in artsy B&W? My father owned an 8mm camera back in 1973/4 and it was color and footage wasn't nearly this clear. I'm sure the Danish CDC could afford a color camera/film in 1978... This looks like a modern recording, desaturated, with "authentic film imperfections" applied on top.

You do not necessarily need a spacesuit for handling Ebola Virus. It is - as far known - only transmitted via blood and other bodyfluids.
So as long as you don't drink Ebolablood or get it smeared on a wound you probably won't get infected, though I wouldn't risk it anyways.
The Reston strain is sure to be airbone, gladly it doesn't effect humans as severly as the other strains do (in fact it is not much more than a cold).
Anyway, I would personally not risk getting near Ebola.

Well, most scientists would prever to wear a hazard-suit in cases of ebola or other hemmoraghic feevers. And why isnt't there some medical equipment ? An infusion should be good or other machines - even in the 70s.

Yes the film is not genuine, however, one does not absolutely need a BSL4 hazmat suit to be in the vicinity of the virus. It would be advisable to wear the absolute highest level of protective coveralls in the presence of the Ebola virus due to the highly contagious nature of hemorrhagic fever, but a respirator, gloves, goggles, and long sleeved clothing would do just fine as long as carriers of the virus are properly quarantined

ya, we wont know if there is a very tiny scar on our skin. so getting in touch with the blood or any water, even we don't see any scar on our skin, is very dangerous. btw, the movie seems not really from 1978.

This is fake. Watch any single section of the screen for more than a couple seconds and you'll realize the seemingly random specks and scratches are actually quite repetitious.

@DelilahThePig I noticed that too. It is all so in color converted to monochromatic with a sepia overlay. Fake for certain but why? Probably a product of some students from the Brooks Institute. Maybe they misunderstood the meaning of video going viral on youtube....

you should really try to find the latin name of ebola since the latin name can mean what its called and its origin or calculated origin. yesh, the fact that there is no vaccince right now kinda creeps me out.
